We just returned from our trip to Discovery Cove and I wanted to share my gluten free experience there, since I did not find a lot of information before we left.

I emailed Discovery Cove prior to our trip about gluten free options, and I was told they could accomodate me and to just talk to the chef upon arrival. When we went in to eat breakfast, I asked to speak to the chef. I waited a few minutes for him, and then he basically told me that all of the hot food was safe for me, and that they had special gluten free snack packs and brownies he could bring for me. So, I had scrambled eggs, ham, sausage and hash browns from the line safely. The snack packs had gluten free pretzels and hummus, animal crackers and fruit snacks, and vanilla wafers with freeze dried fruit.

At lunch, I spoke with a different chef. Again, there were safe options on the line for me, but this time next to unsafe choices, so I avoided the line. Instead, he offered gluten free hamburgers or hot dogs. I had a gluten free cheeseburger and he again offered me the same snack packs and brownie. Everything tasted fine and was safe.

I also had snacks from the various snack stations in the park. They offered naturally gluten free options, like potato chips and strawberry fruit pops. I felt like they had a good selection of gluten free foods, and I would definitely recommend it:)

An excellent and very helpful update, fireworks fan :thumbsup2 . Thanks for reporting back with your experiences!

And a big yay to SeaWorld for accommodating their diet-restricted guests so well :cheer2:.

Thank you so much for posting your experience! :cheer2: I'm glad it was a good one. Did you visit (and eat at) any other parks in the area too?

Yes, we went to Sea World the next day. We ate at the Spice Mill Cafe there. I had a chicken sandwich and fries. It was fast and easy, except for the huge lunchtime rush line :) I was told in advance that Sea World also carries the same gluten free snack packs, but I did not see them there.
