All the Meclazine I could find online last night had either dairy or gluten in it. Mostly dairy. For me, that means puking. :crazy2: Going without means puking.... :crazy2:

Has anybody else had this problem & found a solution?

My Dr. is trying me on a scopalamine patch that Cruisers use, but we're not sure how I'll react - I have alot of weird chemical reactions. I'd rather find a form of Dramanine / Bonine that I could take.

I know you are in the States, but if you can get up here to Canada, there is an OTC motion sickness drug called Gravol that does not contain either dairy or gluten.

Hope that helps!

Depending on the lines on the bridge at the border (Niagara Falls / Buffalo area crossing), I can be in Canada in less than 2 hours....

Is Gravol RX only or is it OTC?

TIA!

OTC at any drug store, but out here in BC it is stored behind the counter at the pharmacy, you just need to ask for it. There is a generic version of it that is super inexpensive, but you might want to check with the pharmacist to make sure it is gluten and dairy free.

HTH!

Thanks! Insurance permitted the scopolomine, so I'll try that. I think if I have a reaction to that, I may just try to get thru it with seabands & ginger. It's really just at the tail end of the flight that I start to have problems, so hopefully that'll be enough.... if not, I'll make sure I am otherwise prepared.

When are you leaving and on a totally unrelated ( :rolleyes1 ) note, I wonder if it is legal to ship Gravol over the border...
