Glow sticks?

Hi, has anyone packed glow sticks in their hold luggage to take to WDW. We have an absolute shedload we bought ages ago and I thhought DD would like it if we took some for the evening parades etc. Just wondered if they were safe to take on an aircraft - yet again I stress in the HOLD I would not try to takke them as carry on!

Yes we have taken glowsticks before too with no problems. If you have a fridge put them inside it for a few hours before you use them, ours tended to glow brighter that way

Pack as many as you like. I had tons of them left over from DD's party last year and we took them with us in the hold luggage with no problems at all.

I have heard about that. I take it you have tried it and it works then? I never remember to do it

Haha! yes I have my brother in law told me to put them in the fridge after we had broken up a few for the kids in the heat and the chemicals didn't mix well. After putting them in the fridge then giving them a shake they worked fine

Well since writing myself a note probably won't help much by the time we arrive there, I have told my 9 year old about the 'trick' and no doubt she will be sure to remind me

I know what you mean! by the time our holiday in 2012 comes around i'll be amazed if I remember to pack them at all
