Hey you guys well we were suppost to leave for disney on friday but my Hubby just called and said to finish up getting things together because we are leaving tomorrow morning because of Gustav heading toward us.. ( we live in the new orleans area )
so we are heading out a day early so i will see you all at disney , everyone drive safe and i will see you at the glow party and look for me at POp !!

I may not be posting anymore. Might lurk on some threads but doubt I will have much time to post from now on. Everyone that I have broken promises to and forgotten stuff, please forgive me. I am doing the very best I can and that does not seem like enough, to me.

Pooch, I just have not had time to do a search. Maybe tomorrow. It is my dh's BD and I have to take him to celebrate so that I can go with a clean conscience. How is the bathroom going?

Since we will be at the luau while you are at O'Hana's I will hope that you have the energy and the weather cooperates so that you can join us on the beach. Want me to bring the canned corn? If not we shall see each other at the food court since we will not go over to the Poly if they cancel the show. Call me when you want. We will not get in until mid day on Saturday, if the weather cooperates.

The Luau sounds like fun. Lucky you. We have Ohana at 5:40 when is the luau? I am looking forward to meeting for the fireworks and now I am looking forward to that can of corn your bringing. The version of the corn story I heard is there was a family on Main Street waiting for a parade to begin and sharing a can of corn amongst themselves. No plates, no heat--just passing the can around. It became such legend here on the DIS that a group of disers recreated the incident with a "canned corn meet." Search doesn't seem to be working right now, but I'm pretty sure there were some big threads about it.

Was Miss Linda the beginning of that legend? I wouldn't be surprised.
