I just wanted to let you know that the little girl we were wanting to adopt is getting ready to finally be adopted out, they are holding interviews for her this week and Dane and I are going to try to get her. Any prayers would be greatly apppreciated. TIA Ill keep ya posted!

Hi everyone!!! I can't believe how close we are getting now!!! I'm sorry I haven't posted much as things have been quite busy for us. Most recently my middle DS had emergency surgery to remove his ruptured appendix a week ago today. Man was he ever sick . Barring no complications we will go as planned. He will be devestated if we can't go. That is all he has talked about. So everyone keep your fingers crossed, or pray for us please, that he makes a swift recovery. Looking forward in meeting a bunch of you at the glow party!!!

Farrah, I am so hoping that you guys are able to adopt the little girl. BTW, the boys will never be ready for a sister but they are great training for a future marriage. Please let us know how it goes and you have all my prayers and good wishes.

One of the people I first invited to go with me on this upcoming trip told me that she has reconsidered and, barring any unforeseen circumstances, will be able to go with me. She and I will be a perfect fit in so many ways and she has never been to DW so I am looking forward to showing her around. She is much quieter and demure than I am. But then so are ogres.

She and I will be a perfect fit in so many ways and she has never been to DW so I am looking forward to showing her around. She is much quieter and demure than I am. But then so are ogres.

DivaKristin, my friend is very sweet, quiet and not one to speak up for herself. Maybe we can change her attitude?

If she is willing to spend two whole weeks with me she may not be as perfect as I think, at least not picky about her friends.

I have turned into a bit of a rebel in the past few years. I done snuck out and learned how to drive and that was my first step toward independence. Husband still not over that one and he can no longer drive himself. At least when I take him somewhere I lower the windows when I have to leave him in the car.

Off to the heart doctors to learn if they can get me tuned up in time to enjoy my two weeks of fun more fully.

Alicia, there are worse things than going to DW alone or being single. Going with the wrong person can ruin both people's vacation. Been there, done that.

I have friends who complain about being single and I tell them that being married can be worse. It sure does cut down on your chances of dating the right man.

I am clueless re: GG's. What's involved?
I cancelled our Oct F&W trip Just couldn't spend the $ so soon after Sept. Now I am stuck with a OKW reservation I can't use. We lose the points if I can't rent it out. I hope it will go quickly once I can list it.
