I am betting that the servers will not like cash either especially after getting used to those guaranteed 18% tips with all that food included on the DP.

Alicia, you have it easy. I even have to dial the phone (corded) for my husband. Hope Matt gets the hang of things. A bit of testosterone might be good have around this place.

I now have TWO boys here. I am just a kid magnet. One is not even mine and he drops by all the time. You know I just hate that.

Timmie, ya know what scares older folk the most (and I really am not THAT old, yet)? It is being dependent on strangers in their time of need. Truth be told, even if I brought my dh with me on a trip I would be alone, worse than alone cause I would have to deal with MY problems and still take care of him. I have told my sister, who lives in Clearwater, that if I should croak on a WDW vacation just to have me cremated and spread any old where handy. Thank you for the offer, trying to stay away from silver trays, if possible.


Alicia, you should know that 'learing/leering' is not allowed on Disney boards.

Matt, never mind your dw. I am sure that you know better and I promise that we will be gentle with you UNTIL you learn your way around. You will like it here, lots of crazy folks. My kind of people.

I think I am farther into the dark ages than you Linda. I never get charging privileges on my KTTW card and always carry $50 or so in cash at the parks. I even get (shudder!!!) Travelers Checks before I leave. Each morning I cash 1 at the resort desk before heading out for the day. I take that, my Disney Rewards card and my Disney Visa with me. I use the rewards card first, cash second and the Visa if I need it.

I think the wait staff would love cash tips. DM was a waitress her whole life and we lived on those tips, cold hard, useable immediately cash. Tips that are charged can't be spent for gas on the way home. Believe me, they like the tips in cash and this is how I intend to do it.

BTW, I also don't have a debit card. I actually sit down once a week and write checks for the bills, put them in the envelope provided and snail mail them!!
