to DD that she's on for the trip again. I had originally planned this trip for a friend (not a close one) who had never been to WDW and wanted to go. She was so excited when I offered to plan the trip & take her. Now we all love to plan here but it is a lot of work and I could never get a hold of her to ask opinions etc. The final straw, of course, was money. I was VERY upfront with the cost of the trip from the beginning and she said she was fine with it. Well, I asked about 6 weeks ago for a check for the flight ($200) and, although she said she sent it, I still haven't gotten it and we only live like 20 miles apart!! Sent several e-mails and left messages on her cell phone with no response. So I'm done hunting her down. What's gonna happen when I need a check for $900?!?!?
Ok, end of rant. So now Katie was on the hook again and I was afraid to tell/ask her. Today, we're both off from work and I sheepishly say that I've cancelled Terry's flight and rebooked with her. I quickly offer to cut the trip short - make it just a long weekend. And then, my dear, sweet, (did I mention I love

this kid?) daughter says "No, I'm good with 8 days. I had fun last year. Where are we eating this time? Can I get the pulled pork at the Studios and
you are NOT drinking my Grey Goose slushie this time!!! CJ (her "friend") said we should try Ohana but I'm not doing any more character meals, except Liberty Tree Tavern. We have to eat there or I'm not going!"
I raised her right. So, although more expensive, I think the trip will be more fun and I'm happy!!!!
