Ok, so I was checking out drink menus and saw this one:

Blue "Glow-Tini" inspired by the Year of a Million Dreams - Skyy citrus vodka, peach schnapps, blue curacao, sweet-and-sour, and pineapple juice with a sugared rim $9.25

Do I have to be at a sit down restaurant to have this or can I find one at PI or Epcot/Boardwalk??

:coffee:

Yumm, I had to have me 2 of those in December. (I didnt want one glow cube to be lonely at my house, so I took one for the team and drank 2) They were wonderful!

I had mine at the bar in AKL, (have the bartender set your cube to constant glow, not flashing so you dont lose your eyesight and then whole bar doesnt stare at you!)

I like them sweet and fruity, so I wouldnt say it was overly sweet. They might have them at the Tambu lounge at poly (trying to remember the menu) but I dont recall seeing them else where, but I wasnt really paying attention.

Most lounge menus are the same these days, and that's the featured cocktail for YOAMD. We saw them in lots of restaurants and lounges in March. I didn't try one then, but I plan to in August. :goodvibes

I had my first one at Le Cellier.
The second, 3rd and 4th at the Wilderness Lodge. It was on the standard bar menu.

I had one at LeCellier. YUMMO!

I had to on our trip earlier this month! They were great. Does anyone know what the measurements would be for the ingredients? I'd love to be able to enjoy these at home too on a hot summer evening!

Yes there were delish! I am not much of a drinker but these sure hit the spot at the end of a hot day, had mine at Kona and Coral Reef, a bit on the pricey side though $9.75 plus18% tip. Probably could have made a whole pitcher of them at home for that much. Would LOVe to have the recipe- think I will ask next month and see if they will share.

The magical glow cubes are actually called Litecubes. They are sealed plastic cubes with freezer gel inside. They come in several colors and have three light modes. Steady on, slow flash and fast flash. They last around 12 hours if left on continuosly. You can buy them in or outside Disney. A three pack cost me around 10 dollars. I found mine on an auction site and use them when I go to a parties. I get a lot of comments.

A side note, the two I got with drinks at Disney still work a year later after several uses. I have not even opened the new ones I bought yet. So the lithium battey inside them is very good. I keep mine in the freezer till I use them.
