Can I print the autograph cards on glossy or matte? Those are the only 2 types of paper our local 1 Hr Photo prints on and I don't know what to do.
Also what type of marker would you recommend with whichever paper?

I'm concerned the signatures will smudge or worse, not even stick.

TIA!!

I have heard that Matte paper is better, but I am also wondering the same thing about what kind of marker to use. This will be our first trip to WDW with DD, so I am attempting to put together her autograph book. Hopefully somone with lots of expericence will be able to help us out! :worship:

If you look in the thread about how to make an autograph book, they suggest matte finished... I am trying to make one too:)

The matte finish is a little flatter - not as shiny as glossy, but it is really a matter of personal preference. Retractable Sharpie markers are the best for writing on the cards. They dry almost imediately so that they don't smudge, and with the retractable ones you don't have to fumble with lids. :goodvibes
