hi photomama, hope you are still on disboards? I had 2 rooms booked in OT at the HI Express, now after reading reviews on Trip Advisor, I discovered the glorious Glorietta! We're heading back to San Diego this summer (end of May) haven't been since 2009. The last time we were there, we did the Old Town trolley tour, and stopped in Coronado as part of the tour. We loved it, and wished we could have stayed on the beach/island longer! We just decided to take the plunge and do it, and I thought it would be the best of both worlds to stay at the Glorietta and be able to walk to the beach! Can you elaborate on your stay? We have 2 teens, so we booked a 1 bdrm suite. Can't wait!!
