I wasn't asking if she knew it, I was asking if she understood it. She proved to me a while ago that she knew it, now I'm asking if she understands it.

I could look up a word in spanish, study it, and know it, but I couldn't tell you what it meant.

Okay, but how do I know you didn't do the same thing. For all I know, you looked it up and copied and pasted it on here. it's the same thing.

I'm not looking to get in the middle of this but let me just say something. No one can prove whether you do or do not know what you are talking about. There is really no way we can prove it so I think we should just forget about trying to prove it. You guys could know everything about Global Warming and have a special medal, or you could have a gold ribbon in copying and pasting things, but no one can prove it. So I think everyone should get off eachothers cases because we all obviousley have different opinions. Once again, I am not trying to stir things up, I just think we all need to take a breathe.

Can I say with any certainty, no. The whole Global Cooling thing still has people turned off about Global Warming. However, I live in the desert, and we had record breaking floods (partially to do with drainage not equipped for the job, but still record breaking rain fall). Then I hear how other places aren't getting any water at all. Is it related to "GW", who knows? I think regardless of whether it is happening or not, we should be trying to implement changes to help the environment. I am still reminded of the Lost in Space remake where Earth was dead by 2050.

i think global warming is a very bad issue that our children and their children are gonna face people.....it's affecting us now people. The whole world could be underwater in like 100 years for all we know, cause the ice caps are melting all over the world and the ozone layer isnt getting any smaller. we could all die of heat problems in the next few years becuase the ozone layer is getting larger. all we really need to do is improve the things we are doing and it is true what the scientist says if we try to improve things the ozne layer will close in a couple of year. all we need to do is get rid of all this pollution and cfc's that people use. i know i want to change the future! i want my children and the children to suffer! we Teens could make a difference!

Global Warming is happening, I don't think anybody except loons are denying that. It's just what is causing it that causes the debate. Saying CO2 causes it, then showing a graph over the past 50 - 100 years isn't really that good in showing what is happening. Sure it shows a steady rise in CO2 emissions, but the only problem is when compared with a graph that goes back 300 million years or so we see that we are nowhere near the highest levels of CO2 ever produced.

In fact we are nowhere near the highest temperatures. When temperatures averaged around 75 degrees or so life flourished. Maybe Global Warming is just a normal cycle of the Earth. We are in an ice age right now, and throughout the Earths life there have been more times where the ice caps weren't there.

Changes are coming, we as humans are just going to adapt.

not trying to be mean or anything but i support some of what u are saying! but we cant really stop co2 because we breath out it and plants need it to produce oxygen. but we can limit it! but we still need to change the world. and your right in a way because we sort of are in a ice age because those ice caps use to be melted which everything was under water until the ice age came and froze everything. but know the humans will not get to adapt to the environmental changes. we will all either die or get extinct and the earth will change its ways back because everything will be dead and then somewhere in a thousand or million years we will have life back when everything on earth has come back to normal! its a true fact we will have to face! u either do something or just sit back and wait for the world to end! i choose to do something!

Seriously, no offense at all but do some research please. The world will never be completely under water if the ice caps completely melt. The ice caps have melted before and there has always been land. And the Ozone just compromises of O3 and nothing else, please do some research before posting. Again not trying to be mean or anything.

Also Humans will adapt. We've adapted multiple times to different environments, such as the Little Ice Age and the Medieval Warming period.

Well of course there won't be as much land. Mainly coastal areas and some islands will be underwater. But I'm pretty positive that the Earth was never covered completely by liquid water.

And yes I have heard of the Iron and Bronze Age, they are considered the ages in which humans became knowledgeable in advanced metal work. I don't see what that has to do with anything though...

One final note, by saying that humans have become extinct before I have lost all credibility whatsoever in your future posts in this thread. Again not trying to be mean or anything, just my opinion.

oh sorry did i say extinct. my bad! like seriously what i meant to say is that we have lost human life before. like **** sapiens we are ancestors of them. humans lived with dinosaurs once...right?...well they all died...but then humans just came back in a different way just different.....and dont tell me that the ice caps wont cover the land because they will. if u think of it, 70 percent of the world is covered in water and 30 percent is land right well that other 30 percent is frozen fresh water. so dont tell me u dont think land will be covered because it will. we will have another ice age soon possibly!
