I don't think you understand those points though. I think you copied them off the internet or something.I know that it will not happen soon. It could have some drastic impact on our world in our lifetime. I also understand that people won't always agree but I think that I have some very valid points and that maybe my opinion should be respected not necessarily agreed with.
Yes I understand.
I just don't think that this forum is very nice.
I think that you guys need to be a little nicer instead of tearing me apart
everytime I say my opinion.
I just am so tried of people saying that it isn't true and I think
that they need to know that it is a real problem.
I just don't appreciate your attitudes towards me it really makes me angry.![]()
They are not my facts I have not personally experienced them so I don't know if the ice in the Artic is melting.
Actually, the Earth is the only one who knows what is really going on.So than how do you know that Sept. 11th really happened? Were you there?
I mean is that really what you are trying to ask me?
IMHO you guys don't know anything about it either. I think that this thread is pointless know to tell you the truth. Unless you are a scientist no one knows what is truely going on so I think that if you are going ot tell me that I am not supporting myself fully than you are right because I can't I am not there. I just don't want to see our only home end. It is just not a happy thought for anyone.
Hey and Munky I want to see your facts since this is your thread after all and I haven't seen any of your facts or opinions.

Ocean currents bring warm or cold water to certain areas. This water evaporates into the atmosphere, and affects the surrounding climate.Do you know the relationship of ocean currents to climate?
Salt content determines the speed of the currents. The faster the currents are going, the higher the salt content of the ocean. With global warming, the fresh water ice in the polar caps melts. More fresh water = lower salt content = slower currents. Eventually, the currents either move slow enough or just plain stop, stopping the flow of warm water from the Carribean to Europe. If no warm water gets to Europe, no warm water gets into the climate. If no warm water gets into the climate, you get a colder climate. This cold climate in Europe affects the rest of the world, pulling it into an ice age.Do you know how the ocean currents work?
We've all see the diagrams of the the little arrows coming from space, bouncing off the earth, then bouncing off the ozone.Do you know how the ozone works?
Yes.Are you aware that we just came out of a mini-ice age?
Yes.Are you aware that the earth goes through seasons?
Yes.Are you aware that there is conflicting data for everything you've said?
Yes.Are you aware that 30 years ago everyone was freaking out about "global cooling"?
Well the ocean takes in about 50% of what we put out. I don't know the numbers for hte rainforrests, but considering how much air we get from them, I'd guess it's a sizeable number. Are you aware of how much carbon we send into the atmosphere is actually offset by the ocean and rainforrests?
You havn't asked.

Yes.
Credit - Reports from scientists read over the radio that said the Earth is fine, compared to reports from scientists on 60 minutes saying that we're just pouring Co2 into the atmosphere. More noteably, info from Ice Core Samples from both reports.
Yes.

That isn't enough support. That is just pretty much what I have had to say to.
How do you like it huh?
Anyways, I am just kidding you know your stuff and I see no more need to b eon this thread I am sure you will be happy when I am gone.
I know quite a bit of the science involved, not just what could happen. What I'm asking you is, do you?
~EDIT~
BTW, global temps have only gone up by a few tenths of a degree...not a whole degree.
I guess you sort of know what is going on..... I just don't see the difference in what you presented to the stuff I did. I see no need for me to be on this thread as I am sur eyou all want me to leave anyways.
You just said "Yes I know what that is".
He presented reasons for me to believe him.

Don't try to argue it, it's a fact. I've heard it times and times again on the news and have read it on websites.

But I think she just copied and pasted it off the internet. And up until today she hasn't showed me that she actually knew anything about it. She just kept saying "I know the facts" and "I've researched this".to me it is the same thing. She showed you what she knew and where she got it from. and he showed you what he knew and where he got it from. They are telling you what they know, there is no way to know if they really understand it, what if they both just BSed what they said(not saying that they did, but what if?) and like took it from someone else, that doesnt show that they understand it, and like I said before, how do you know those sources are credible?
