And the meliting of the ice shelfs are a huge sign of Global Warming especially at the rate that they are melting.

IMHO is typically used for "In My Honest Opinion" or sometimes used as "In My Humble Opinion."

and PS--I wonder how all those people who lost family members in the many tornado outbreaks which are not normal to have so many during the winter months would say to there is no global warming happening right now.

Wow. I apologize if I affend anyone when I say this, but wow. I can't belive some of the things I read. Because of Global Warming more animals will be on the endangered species list, and soon the extinction list. Not only that but because of the hole in the Ozone Layer, Skin Cancer risks are increasing in a lot of areas. I can't believe that some people would say "It doesn't affect me so therefor I don't care." I am not a huge protester or anything but it just surprises me that so many people have that sort of attitude (not caring) towards this. **Please do not get mad at me for voicing my opinion. This is not directed at one person in particular.**

It's not going to happen in our lifetime, I agree. However, I still find it incredibly selfish and self-serving to not care about the future.

I do wonder, even if global warming is not real, what is the problem with simply cleaning up and conserving energy anyways?

I completely agree with you. Global warming affects everyone no matter how old or what year you were born. I got so angry last time because I really care about this issue and it is hard to kind of be slammed about and told that I don't know anything and that some people don't care.

Reading posts, I don't think these global tragedies are a specific result of global warming. I don't think that by feeling global warming is not happening is not feeling for the many horrific occurances such as tornado's, tsunamis and hurricanes. For me, I feel just horrible for those who lost their lives and for those affected by it. I don't believe global warming is happening, I believe these natural disasters are results of the Earth as it is. It isn't rare for this planet to produce destruction. I don't believe global warming is happening but that doesn't mean I don't have heart for those in loss from natural disaters -- there is NO DOUBT how horrible they (the disasters) were but that doesn't prove global warming...it proves the Earth acting as a planet.

I believe in Global Warming, I just don't believe it's going on now, or will go on for a long time.

I believe we're just trying to find someone/something to blame for our destruction.
