Hi Glen! I saw you mention that Judy and Lauren are planning to do the Rockefeller Center Tour. I did that tour and thought it was very interesting. It was mainly about the architecture of the whole complex. We also visited the Top of the Rock viewing platform, but that wasn't part of the tour I think (maybe a add on? my memories are a bit vague...). We went up there just before sundown and stayed until it was dark outside. So we had the daylight view as well as the nighttime view with all the lights.

Just been pretty busy lately, and not much to report on the Planning front. There's a lot going on with the school-year winding down, and at work I'm on a project where I'm not at my desk most of the time so not much opportunity to check on the DIS. I apologize to all those who's threads I'm getting behind on.

Hey Magdalene! Good to see you again! Yes, that is one of the few things that could be an update since my last update....I hadn't bought tickets because it didn't look like there was any advantage to getting them early (ie. no discount). But in looking at it again, purchasing them ahead of time gives us the opportunity to pick the time for the tour, so we went ahead and ordered them so that we could make sure it'd fit into their schedule. We ordered both the tour and the viewing platform; they're separate tickets but you can buy them together as a "combo". They'll probably just do the viewing platform after the tour, which will be late morning, but the nighttime view would be really great to see, I'm sure.

Ok, so I basically lurked through your last trip report and was excited to see that you guys would be back again this summer. I had to comment though because I just realized that we're going to be staying at AKL at the same time next month. DH and I were able to take advantage of the deal for DVC members for Fantasy cruises in June. We figured since we'd be down there we might as well visit Mickey for a few days. This will be our first time staying at AKL with a Savannah view and we're hoping that DS will enjoy the animals! So if you see two parents chasing around an almost two year old who is going through a "mine" and 'I like to scream phase', be patient, smile, and run the other way!

I know! And there is so much going on, time is going to fly. We're trying to get through with the end of school, then we'll have a graduation and a party, and work is very busy as well. People are trying to schedule things with me and when I say "I'll be on vacation the last 2 weeks of June", I get a look...so I'm glad that you guys are happy for me!

Thanks for thinking of me! I followed a link that was on the main page of the DIS (I think) and watched it a week or so ago, but I just watched the one you linked also. I wish we could see it this year, but we'll miss it by 2 weekends. I still think the one we saw in 2010 was the best -- I liked the music in it better than this years or last.

I'd like to be in "Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes". I think I could learn their dance moves. Wouldn't that be awesome?!
