Hello DISers! I'm baaaaack! :wave2:

MadiMouse and I had a great time! I'm still resizing the pics on photobucket. Hopefully next week I'll get started on the report. I didnt take alot of notes, so it'll be mainly pictures! (Does anyone know how to resize all the pics on photobucket at the same time, or do I have to go through and do each one of them? It's taking FOREVER!!!!)

See ya!

Hi guys! Just wanted to announce the youngest little Disney fan was born yesterday June 15th, (yes, on Father's Day). My eldest son and his wife had a 6lb 4 oz, 19 1/2" long baby boy named Levi Cooper at 2:07pm. Mom and son are doing great! I said youngest Disney fan, but since his mom doesn't like Disney, Nana going's to have to train him up right. Can't wait to take my new little Disney buddy on his first WDW trip. You think 2 1/2 months might be too young to sneak him away from mama:laughing: ?

Now if my youngest son and D-I-L would only have my new little grandaughter. (She's due August 12th). I'd have two little traveling buddies. Hmm, do you think her parents might realize their three week old is missing?

Vanessa,
Congratulations on your new grandson-I'm sure you're make a fine Disney fan out of him. What a nice Father's Day gift.......Colette

Hey Vanessa, Congrats!!! I know your heart has grown even bigger now!

While still feeling tired after my trip last week, I decided to make some changes to my Sept. Itinerary, so I'll have more time to spend at the resort doing NOTHING! So remember to do that DISers.

The day recommended for AK by the crowd level chart is Sun 9/7, which is when I plan to go. So if that day is good for everyone, let's aim to do the meet for EE and Dino that morning at rope drop. IF this is doable for anyone, please post! Maybe we could even wear green that day for the pics!

Here's my latest itinerary:

Sat. 9/6 MK /// Dinner: Boma at 4:35 /// Nothing

Sun 9/7 AK /// Dinner: LeCellier at 6:15 /// EPCOT Illuminations

Mon. 9/8 EPCOT /// Dinner: Boma at 6:15 /// Nothing!

Tues. 9/9 MGM /// Dinner: Tony's at 5:35 /// MK Halloween Party

Wed. 9/10 MK /// Dinner: Cape May at 5:45 /// MGM Fantasmic

Thurs. 9/11 DTD /// EPCOT WS

Fri. 9/12 AK /// Dinner: Narcoosee's at 6

Sat. 9/13 Go Home :(

I will be at AK on Sunday 9/7. YEA!!

Congratulations! Grandchildren are absolutely amazing! Mine (2, 3, & 4) will be taking their first trip to Disney with me (along with their parents--I'm not that crazy) in May of next year.

Please send me any suggestions for car rental in September! Thanks!

Thanks guys! He is a cute little munchkin, if I do say so myself.

Jamie, traveling with grandkids, (one at a time though) is great! My elder son's daughter from his first marriage is now 11 y/o. She was the only grandchild (on our side) for eight years. I taken her to WDW a few times, to Renaissance Fairs, Civil War reenactments, and San Antonio, all by myself. She's a great travel buddy. She flew on her first airplane before her mom ever did:rolleyes1 , and loves it. Due to her parents divorce and their work schedules, she never gets to go anywhere on vacation with them, so she really looks forward to our trips. She was eight when my younger son had his son. Now three years later she is suddenly getting a baby step brother, (as well as a new girl cousin in August). She has already expressed concern that she might not get to go on as many trips with me now that she's not the only grandchild.

Oh, no we have ADRs for Chef Mickeys at 8:15am on 9/7 then we were going to go to MGM for awhile before taking the boat over to meet everyone at Le Cellier.

We were going to AK on 9/8 and have ADRs for Tusker House at 8:10am, lunch at Yak & Yeti at 12N, then Boma at 6:30pm. We may have to miss the group picture:(

I usually go every year in Sept/Oct, Dec, and May and Sept always by far has the lightest crowds. Even though restaurants are packed due to free dining, the park crowds are always so light in Sept that we don't even pay attention to the crowd predictions during that particular time.

Rich, Adrien, and Kat, I'm thinking about bailing on the 1900 Park Fare Dinner on 9/9. I'd see if I could downgrade it to a smaller table and then PM the ADR# to one of you guys. I'd then use my mom or husband's phone to make an earlier ADR either in or somewhere close to MK. I'm thinking about taking my mom (and husband) to MNSSHP that night. Mark and I went last September, but my mom has never been, her birthday is that day, AP holders get a discount that night, and I think she might really enjoy it. The special fireworks and parade are great, plus she could get her picture made with Cinderella's carriage. She was supposed to go with me last year, but had to cancel when her sister announced she was coming from West Virginia to visit. I still have the costume I ordered for her off of ebay though, plus Mark and I still have ours.

Anyway, would you guys absolutely kill me if I bail on 1900 Park Fare? They let guests in for the MNSSHP at 4:00pm and I'd want to be inside MK early to get in line for the carriage pictures. Last year that line stretched forever, even though we got there early.

I definitely plan to travel with my granddaughter when she's a little older (the boys...not so much  ). In fact, I wanted to take her to Disney last month, but her parents wanted to be there for her first time, which I understand. Her mom was a college basketball coach (now a SAHM), so she was flying all over the country by the time she was a few months old! Once her brother was born 14-1/2 months later, the travel just got too hard, even with my son and a grandparent or two along to help.

Vanessa, Congrats on the new grandbaby!!!
No it will totally be fine to skip the 1900 park faire.. I'm going to do MVMHP too. I've never been.
