I'm here, just reading my subscribed threads and working on my December trip

p.s. Glad to hear your dad is doing better. Strokes are horrendous things--I lost both my mom and grandmother to them.

truly know what you mean.. i lost my dad with complicatuions with stroke last month!!! are you going solo again on Dec????

Thank you guys, Dad didn't miss a beat. he's ready for anything, I told him I want to goto vegas with him and he wants to take the RV after thanksgiving and fly home about christmas. I wish I could do that but I have to much going on.

I can't wait to be in disney and forget about reality for awhile.

It definatley isn't, my life is so much better than I could have ever imagined. You'll understand when you get a chance to meet and talk to my wife. She has truley blessed my life.

I am glad... I dont know what is going on with your life... but I hope whatever it is.. it does not affect you and your wife... thats what my mom always tells me.. if the problem is not between me and her and my dad.. it ashould not bother us one bit

We normaly take three vacations a year but work has kept me home since may of last year. We're due for a great time and I won't accept anything les. lol

We will be at BCV from Sept 18 to 21, then DCL/Member cruise 21 to 25, AKL 25 to 28 and then back to BCV 28 to 30. Whew! I'm tired just thinking about all the packing and unpacking. It is probably a good thing that the airlines limit what I can take

I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Both my mom and grandmother were in nursing homes for the last several years of their lives, and, to me, that's a "fate worse than death."

December started out as a solo trip for my friend and fellow DISer redbudlover. She'd been trying to talk me into going for a while, and I decided a week ago that I couldn't turn it down It will be my first time to see the Christmas decorations, and we're also doing the Candlelight Processional and MVMCP

Ok first of all

You have to not let those things bother you (I know, easier said than done) BUT if you take those comments to heart, they are getting what they want. Remember that Karma is a you know what, and someday, they will be shown the error of their thoughts and ways. That just means that we have to put a little more love out in the world for all the hate and negative energy they are!

Thanks Amanda. I was just blown away that a WHOLE site that looks similar to ours, was allowed to exsist with such hatred and horrible words. Oh - and their avatars . . . most of them are cartoons of black people with HUGE lips and messed up hair! It was definetly, a reality check. There are so many ignorant people in this world!

oh i forgot I have a girl who is making like snickers bar cake and some extra desserts for us too I wanted to make sure we had enough!!

Hmmmm . . . now how can I sneak into that reception . . .

was craving for some crab cakes... and this is what I came up with...

a can of Phillips crab meat.. flour... relish... bell peppers... seasoning for taste!!! and Voila!! Lunch!!
