Is the Tower of Terror run being held at night? Is it located at MGM? That would be really cool. DD and I are doing the 5k in Jan. I'm on my sixth week of the C25K running plan. DD is on week 2 because I just broke down and told her about the trip. I was trying to keep it a secret, but she just wasn't willing to run with me, so I had to spill the beans. Good Luck with the ToT run!

Wow, am I ever glad I got it into my head today that you would probably have a TR up and ready to read by now! I knew you wouldn't let me down (although I probably let my family down as I read this instead of make dinner!). Why didn't I check before???!!
What a great trip! I'm so happy it (mostly) all worked out great for you. Now, somebody out there MUST be able to find that Larry dude for us - for YOU. I got a twingy feeling when I read that part - like it was NO accident you just happened to be dining at the same place as this guy, also alone, also a Disney lover...? Weird!
I have given up on trying to put up a TR cause I think it would make me sadder that my trip is over and done with. I don't think I have the mental cojones either (must be winter lurking on the horizon and my brain says to get ready to hibernate!). I am officially a lurker now but had to say howdy do (and next time don't forget about CANADA!)
I have to tell you too, cause you would GET IT: During my trip iwhile in Captain Cook's at the Poly, I ran into UtahMama! You and she were probably one of the very first to respond on the Focker thread and I've met both of you! She looked great, (I looked like a drowned rat fresh from the pool!) but was in line with her family and so we just said hi. Later, I realized how amazing it was that she was the only other Diser I met this trip! Can't believe how many you encountered but I know it's because of your happy, smiling face floating all around these boards.
Can't wait to hear about Christmas in the World!

So glad you got to see UT! Isnt it cool when you get to see someone from the boards?! I'm already planning to see more this Dec! And don't worry about how you looked. Remember when I saw you last year, I'd eaten enough food for a small family! I knew I looked HUGE!

Thanks for a great report! I love reading about trips not involving children, since we're taking an adults only trip for our anniversary in December. I can't wait to try Boma! My husband and I will be at AKV in December, but we're leaving the day you arrive, so I don't think we'll run into you. Hope you have a great trip and I can't wait to read about it here!

Thanks for a great report! I love reading about trips not involving children, since we're taking an adults only trip for our anniversary in December. I can't wait to try Boma! My husband and I will be at AKV in December, but we're leaving the day you arrive, so I don't think we'll run into you. Hope you have a great trip and I can't wait to read about it here!

Thanks to you (and some others) I am in the midst of writing my very own Pre-TR! You had me hooked with your TR with Mom and then I went back and read the first one you ever wrote. I figured if you could do it, so could I!

I appreciated your final thoughts on your trip and I think I would consider a solo trip some day. Who knows? Could be fun.

Can't wait until your Dec trip. I am going to MVMCP as well. It will be interesting to see the difference from opening night when I am going to later in Dec when you get to go! Have a great trip!!!

I'm going to take a solo trip.
SCARED TO DEath , never been anywhere by myself
in over 35 years . BUt Im looking at dates and cars
and tickets now for Nov.12th thru Nov.16.
