I have the room booked, the airfare purchased, and tickets for the theme park, now the big question: Can we wear our glasses on the ride or will that be an issue?

I had no problem, did buy a couple of straps for my Rx sunglasses and glasses both at the Dollar Store before I left.

Excellent, thanks for such a quick response. :thumbsup2

I had no problem with my glasses on the FJ or any other the coasters. Unless they are really loose, you should be fine.

Mine didn't come off or anything, but I had problems with the sides of them hitting the restraints, which really hurt the sides of my face. (apart from the intitial feeling of flight, I really didn't like the ride. :( )

Our son once lost his glasses on The Mummy so be careful there. I suggest a strap just to make sure.

I only have trouble with one of my pairs but they are really loose. (Will actually slide down my nose when I bend over!! I really need to get that pair adjusted!) I just reach up and push them back in place a couple times during the ride and I am all set! I really love the ride and have never had trouble.

But do keep your head all the way back. The ride hard stopped once and I bashed my head against the restraint and saw stars. You only do that once.... :lmao:

You should be fine, but the simulator(ish) ride makes really sudden movements both completely turning up and going almost all the way down. It also bumps a lot to the left and right. I did not have glasses when I was there last month. (Just got a pair yesterday actually). I would get a strap. You don't want to miss any details on the way through the castle or on the ride. You should be safe, but the bumps would have me worried.

No problem for me, but if it worries you, get a pair of Croakies (or similar) eyeglass straps.
