Glass Bottom Boats

Anyone ever done this? Did you like it?

We did it a few weeks ago. It was okay. DD2 really enjoyed it. DD14 would have preferred the stingrays.

They took us out in a boat and we fed the fish. You could see several through the glass bottom. Then we went to another area to see some more.

It was interesting, but I wouldn't do it again.

My daughter loved the stingray tank in Sea World a few years back. Maybe we should consider the stingray tour. I thought the glass bottom boat view would be a lot more like snorkeling, clear blue with lots of tropical colored fish. Not so much huh?

That's what I thought, too.

While it wasn't an expensive excursion, it really wasn't worth the price.

I only did it so my mother could see some of the fish, she didn't go into the water much. But I wouldn't do it again, the glass on our boat was maybe 6 or 8 feet lonf and only a few weet wide, not enough room for everyone to see at the same time.
