Glasgow Virgin Flights

Did anyone travel on the new direct Glasgow-Orlando flight in June/July?
We are using this service in October and just wanted some info. Were you able to check-in on line? Did they have a bag drop? What aircraft did they use in the end?
Any info would be appreciated.

As with all Virgin Atlantic flights from the UK you can check in on line.
The aircraft would have been a 747-400 as its one of the same aircraft that flies the Manchester and Gatwick routes
