GL Lodge Concierge - $637/night
Beach Villas 1 BR Suite - $542/night

We're planning to stay 3 nights before going on our Disney Cruise.

Since I stayed at the Old Key West before, I know the Beach Villas 1 BR Suite is so much bigger than GL Lodge Concierge and it's got a kitchen. So is GL Lodge Conciege worth it for my honeymoon? I love the idea of how romantic GL seems and it IS our honeymoon but I'm not guarenteed a view of the lagoon.

I need some help deciding!! Please help! Thanks in advance!

I thought I read that the sugarloaf lagoon view is of the marina. Is that something you'd want?

The GF FAQ might have good info for you. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?threadid=513609

I like the Beach Club Villas location, right near Epcot. The king bed and jacuzzi tub would sell me!

I would chose( and did chose) the Gf main building concierge. The concierge is soo helpful in helping to get hard ressies. We got the breathless and teh grand one for our upcoming trip in september at WL concierge! Just for that alone I think it is worht it. I didnt have to wake up every morning to call and worry about everything. Also know that the sugarloaf building in the GF has a limited food selection, no alcohol I believe. I think teh GF exudes romance. Just my two cents though. We are also getting married at the pavilion so no transportation needed ( except cindy's coach) and I like that.

I think it really depends on what is more important to you. Here are the main pros for each resort:

Beach Club Villas 1 bedroom:
--very large room
--king bed guaranteed
--jacuzzi tub
--full kitchen
--proximity to Epcot and Disney-MGM Studios

GF Sugarloaf Concierge:
--pre-planning assistance through concierge staff
--possibility of getting some of the more difficult to get reservations (like Cindy’s breakfast, etc. – not guaranteed at all, but a possibility)
--convenience of the monorail
--snacks available throughout the day at the concierge lounge
--can request a king bed, but not guaranteed

I think it really comes down to assistance and snacks vs. larger room and Jacuzzi. Either way I think you’ll have a fantastic honeymoon!

I've stayed in the tower of GF-Concierge level and at BC villas. GF is truly great and a fantastic experience. If you can only afford it once, I'd go for it.

However the BC/BCV are my favorite resorts. If you decide to go with BCV, I'd rent DVC points. It will be much, much cheaper than booking through MCO if those are week nights. PM if you have any questions about renting.
