Giving Thanks and Getting Fit - November Exercise Challenge!!

I'm coming into this kinda halfway through the month but I would still like to get in on this! My goal will be a low 420 for the remainder of the month. I'm dealing with a lingering ankle injury (I find out Tuesday if it's been fractured for the past year) so I'm only allowed to work out for 3 days a week. So my goal is 60 minutes a day with thirty on a low impact cardio machine (elliptical or stationary bike) and then 30 minutes of weights and toning. I've got to get ready for my honeymoon in May! Thank you for letting me join in!

11/14 60 minute shore walk
11/15 30 min walk

405/900

I am so thankful for our weekends at our beach condo. It's been such a wonderful retreat thru the Fall, spending time with my husband, enjoying the beauty of the shore. This will likely be our last weekend here for 2015 - will be busy with the holidays, family, etc. - all of which I'm looking forward to - but I'll miss the beach!

Can you please add me to the challenge? Just found this and need to get back in shape, especially with mid Dec. Disney trip coming up! I am going to go for 300 since we are halfway through the month. With a new puppy at home, regular routine has gotten scrapped, with having to revolve schedule around taking her out every hr. or so and watching like a hawk so she doesn't get into everything. Trying to walk her everyday and get longer as she can go further. Did 10 min. walk today to start my numbers.

Also, since it is Sunday, thankful for being able to watching my DS(15) playing in his first soccer game since Sept., finally recovered from ankle injury!

30 minutes today

We learned that some of my husband's family will be moving away soon, but I'm thankful that we had all the time with our young nieces up to this point. We've been able to take them to museums and plays, Disney on Ice, etc., and every year since the oldest was 3 or so we've been going to the pumpkin patch. One last hurrah before they leave--they don't know it yet, but we got tickets to Disney on Ice-Frozen for December. The middle niece just asked us yesterday if we knew when Disney on Ice would be coming back here; she's going to be thrilled!

Our team is right on track to meet our goals this month - woohoo!

No minutes for me today... my foot and leg are a little tweaked from my 90 lb dog jumping right on them when she hopped onto the couch with me the other day. The dangers of owning a large breed dog, ha!

Today I am thankful for my family. They live in another state but I'm looking forward to my sister's visit in a few weeks and then going home to see everyone for Christmas!

Woo hoo! Right back at it! 25 minutes on the bike tonight. It felt awesome. Why didn't you guys tell me that it is so much better to workout with music? I got tired of watching YouTube videos on the Kindle while I ride, so I switched to my iPod. Wow, what a difference!
Keep up the great work everyone!

Finally back with some updates! I took almost two weeks off because I keep re-injuring my foot and wanted to just rest and gently stretch it. During my down time I booked a quickie trip to Disney for January! I can't wait, it's been 2 years since we've been!! My husband jokes this has been my most expensive injury yet - ha!

Running/walking. I need to add some variety to my exercise routine....

I missed yesterday, but today I'm thankful that we'll have a crowd here for Thanksgiving. It's been a bit since I've seen some of them, so I'm looking forward to a loud family reunion!

@PollyannaMom , what a darlin your little boy was! Happy birthday to him :bday:

70 minutes of lower body toning and a short pyramid hiit workout 3 hours later in the day brings my total to 700/1200.

I had to do some re-arranging of my work out schedule because I knew I wouldn't be able to work out on Saturday due to our local college team playing a night game, and didn't notice I ended up with two lower body days in a row. Ouch.

Mom was visiting this weekend - so I forgot to update!

Saturday - 28 minutes
Sunday - 69 minutes
Today - 86 minutes

909/1000!

So, since I'm so close to my goal already, I'm going to update it to 1500 for the month - that should be doable even with the holiday coming up and all sorts of traveling :)

So new total - 909/1500
