Ohhh boy...I have worked at my current job for 3 days. Yep. Days.
However, I have just received another job offer that I just can't refuse and need to give my notice. Ugh.
First, the current job: duty monitor at recess at the elementary school. 2 hrs a day. It's about a 25 min drive. Seemed like a good job bc I'd be around for my kiddo to get her on and off the bus. (the job isn't at my kiddo's school district). Pay is measly but that's beside the point.
This job offer: exactly 11 miles from my house. Hours are 8-2, so I'll be able to put the kiddo on and off the bus. Pay is almost 4 dollars more an hour. Plus the company will pay 80% of health insurance for me and my child. I spent this morning there and met everyone, got a feel for the place, etc. I know it's a perfect fit for me.
I guess the question is this, not if I'm giving my notice, but how. Ugh. I feel terrible, it's horrible timing, but it's something I have to do. Help me do it the best way possible!! Thanks!!!
