Please for everyone's sake, hold onto your receipts and price tags. If you can, leave the tag on the item, or staple it to your receipt. It'll make things so much easier and faster.

We had a woman today, no receipts, didn't have any tags either. The items were on 3 separate transactions too. I helped find the items to match up the numbers. It took over 30 minutes to do it all and she complained about us taking too long.

Just if you can, please save all that. :)

Personally I think that stores are much to lenient when it comes to their return policies. I know that it's a matter of customer service but it seems to me that they should require a receipt in order to issue a refund.

I'm keeping all my receipts in a bag, even the ones for gift cards. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I put gift receipts in with the items I give.
I even put the receipt in the envelope with the gift card. That may be tacky, but once I had a WalMart gift card that had $20 on it showing as nothing when the recipient went to use it.

Amen to that! I work at Guest Services at Target and it can definately be a pain when someone doesn't have their receipt. Than of course it's my fault they don't have a receipt and blah blah blah. Ugh.

Simply snip away the the price portion of the ticket and leave behind the barcode, that way the clerk can still scan the ticket and all the information about the item can be found...if it is on file at that store. And, just because Store A sells Brand Y doesn't mean that they've had every offering from that line.
