Given the code without having it.

I had originally made reservation online and quoted $1580 for 1A, 1C at POP perferred view from 8/25-9/1 (7nts) + 10 day hopper, no expiration. I called a few weeks later and tried to use code and was told needed pin. I called again a few weeks later and asked if they had any better deals going. I was on with CM for almost an hour while she searched for deals. I was given same deal as above + DD for only $42 more! When I recd my confirmation, it had the code on there that I had tried to use when I called the first time. Now since I did not give them that code, I don't see how they can take away that rate from me, right?

Nobody on this board knows the answer to that question for sure. There have been reports that Disney will honor these reservations. And on the other side, people have reported that those people will be contacted.

What we can say - is so far - nobody in your situation has reported on this message board about having received a phone or letter from Disney indicating there is a problem with their booking.

66 People have reported on another thread on this board to being in your situation. One of those trips starts in very early March. To take them as an example, I would have thought they'd be contacted by now if there was a problem.

Until someone reports being contacted by Disney ... Everything you read on this message board is pure conjecture and more often that not.. just serves to get folks all riled up for no reason.

Thanks CanadianGuy, I think you are right about everyone getting riled up for nothing. I don't think that they will "take away" a deal they have given. Either way, Disney is making $$$.
