Our disney trip has finally arrived....we leave Sunday morning.....I have a son who is 12 & never visited this site......what are the top 5 things he should do.....we have a hopper pass that gets us into all 4 parks, all 3 waterparks, Disney Quest.....we'll be there 5 days.....give him some great advice.....thanks!!!!

Here's my list of top 5 but I'm sure some people will disagree with me:
5.Disney Quest- This place is so awesome, go in the early evening, right before dinner, it's the least crowded.
4.Space Mountain- It's one of the most popular Disney rides. That's because it's so much fun. Try to get the very front. And a fastpass.
3.Any water park- These have awesome slides and kool theming. I'd suggest Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach because most people like these better.
2.Test Track- This is a really awesome ride because before they take you out side for a "quick spin" they show a whole bunch of stuff about how they test cars.
1.Rockin'Rollercoaster- This is my favorite ride so I have to put it at number 1. 0 to 60 in 2.8 seconds and Aerosmith music. A great combination.
Whatever you do, have fun. Disney's an awesome place. One more recommendation. Explore some of the hotels, even if you aren't staying onsite. They are really nice.

I would definitely agree with Amgrease! Here's some additions though...

When your at MK, make sure you hit ALL the mountains- that is Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Space Mountain- they're definitely the best!

Instead of spending a night at the parks or at your resort one night, head over to the Boardwalk- you can get dinner there and afterwards there are plenty of games and other activites your son (or even you ;)) can do!

At AK- definitely do Kali River Rapids- that's the best ride in AK- just a warning: you WILL get soaked if you get a bad seat- don't just think "oh I won't get to wet"- if you're the 'lucky' one who gets a certain seat, you'll learn soon that you'll be getting wet! lol

If you have anymore questions, just ask!:bounce:

Have a great trip!
:D

Don't try to run for everything...you can not see it all Period. I have been there for 30 some days and not seen everything. Just have fun and take your time. Also, Drink lots of water and Wear Sunscreen.

first off...know you can do everything

DO DQ if you can.
have a great time
also rides/aatractions not to miss-
MK-all the mtns. ,Fantasyland
EPCOT-SE, UoE,TT and the countries
MGM-TZToT,RnR,VotLM, GMR,Muppets and Hunchback
AK-KRR and KS and,Dinosaur and see the tigers..they are cool!

if you need anymore help just ask! :)

Do an E-ticket night @ MK. That way you can ride splash, space, big thunder & a lot of the other good rides w/out a long wait. Also, when you're at MGM, don't miss Tower of Terror. If your son likes sports, maybe while you visit the Boardwalk, you can eat @ the ESPN club, they have really good chicken wings there!!! :) Definately visit DQ, it's awesome!!!!

Here are five things you should definitely not miss:

1. Fantasmic! THE best show in the whole of WDW.

2. Rock'n'Roller Coaster Just amazing-there's nothing like it!!

3. See at least one parade

4. Make sure you see Illuminations NOT TO BE MISSED!

5. If you are staying at a Disney resort, make good use of the early entry scheme. It's really worth it-lines are either v.short or non existent and you feel really special being let into the parks early!!;)

Oh yeah, No.6 Have a great time!

1)sit in the front of space mountain! Its so awesome!
2)Front right seat of splash mountain, sit there, you get the wettest!
3) rock'n'roller coaster..even the line you wait on is awesome, you have to go on it!
4) Fantasmic, sit really close and in the middle, its the best. ignore what people say about getting there an hour or more early. its a major waste of time to wait. we go there about 10 minutes before show time and got great seats.
5) Spectromagic at MK..its a really cool parade
:D :D :D

You have all gotten my son really psyched up for this trip.....thanks for the great tips.....most of the attractions you mentioned were already on his list.....now he really can't wait & either can I!!!!

I just have to tell you to order e-night at Magic Kingdom, It is the best! the lines speed!!!

My fav places to eat is sci-fi dinnier at MGM. You will have to have resavations it is so great! The waiters are in roller skates while you sit in a car and watch old drive in movies.
Also 50's-prime time in MGM you sit in a house like foom and the waiters treat you like your parents, they will feed you and everything like a parent!!

The best rides are Tower of Terror, Rock~n~roller coster great movie ride>MGM

space mountian, alien encounter, thunder moutian railroad, splash mountian, and
the haunted manshion>Magic Kingdom

Everything>Epcot

Everything>Animal kingdom

Have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
