Pot Roast...yummy. Just made it yesterday!

2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup (or mix one cr of chick, one cr of mushroom)
1 package of dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 c water
5 lb roast

Mix it all and add the roast. You can sear the roast if you want before you put it in, but not necessary. Cook on low 8-9 hours. (at home I cook Hi 3-4 hours, then drop down to lo for 4-5)

Makes wonderful gravy. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.

Great for sandwiches the next day, too.

This is my favorite and it makes a ton!

Boneless skinless chicken breast (we buy the packages at Sam's where they are HUGE so I only use one, but it's about a pound)
1 can rotel (or diced tomatoes drained if you don't like spicy)
1/2 jar of salsa
Black beans

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. 30 minutes before serving add 4 oz of cream cheese and frozen corn.

The first meal I serve over brown rice. I usually do a burrito or two as leftovers for lunch one day and then a small bowl of dip with whatever is left.

It's DH, DD and myself so this does go a long way.

Can you use fresh salsa instead of salsa from a jar? Not sure if it would mess up the recipes.

I love Jack's Fresh Salsa from the refrigerator section of the grocery store. :goodvibes

I can't wait to try everyone's recipes! They sound delicious!:goodvibes

Mostly prefer frozen meals.. Sounds really good one for me. And rice chicken cream of mushroom soup..
