As I posted on a different thread last night:
We just got back form WDW and saw this thread. Don't let the crib assembly worry you. . . it took us about 10 minutes with no tools or parts; everything is supplied and it was a piece of cake! ABBF has special cribs that are full size but are made to assemble with no tools, and man it was great! It actually worked out better because we were in fact moved twice right after we arrived. I can see their point about room changes, it would have been a real problem if it had already been set up.
After reading comments about competitive prices by other companies, I did some checking (ABBF is the only company we have ever used):
Other companies charge $45 for the "crib" (which is really a port-a-crib with a 1-1/2" mattress like a pack & play), $15 for linens, and $20 delivery. That's $80.00 total.
ABBF
www.abbf.com charges $65 for the week, includes 4" inner-spring mattress, includes linens, and includes delivery. PLUS the fact that it is a FULL CRIB like we have at home.
I would say ABBF is more than competitive; it looks to me like they are underpriced for the quality of equipment and service we receive. We have always used them and have always been very, very happy, crib assembly by us notwithstanding!
Since I posted that originally last night, I spoke with Tracy (the owner) and she advised me she had received all positive responses to the set-up issue. Everyone is very happy to have the REAL crib with only a few minutes to assemble easily.
If I had not experienced it myself, I would not have believed how easy it was. Tell your husband to chill; if I can do it, anyone can!
