Give a Thanks to the CM's (or a specific CM)

It's been many years, but I never forgot, we went to Disney on a Wish Trip, my son had Leukemia. The day we arrived it was raining and we had 4 or 5 days of tickets to the parks, we got to the gate and it started raining, we were debating whether to use a ticket for the day or do something else, we told the CM at the gate our dilema, what could we do on a rainy day there, we were on a Wish Trip and didn't want to waste a ticket on a rainy day, he said, just go in, save your tickets for tomorrow!! He let us in free, a family of four, there was nobody around, which is probably why he did it, but he certainly didn't have to do that. :thumbsup2

We would like to thank Jessica at Beaches and Cream for letting our 7 year old son help make our Kitchen Sink in June. He had a blast doing it and talked about it for a month afterwards.

Also all of the many CM's who go out of their way to make everyones vacations Magical!

I haven't even started my trip yet, but CM Darla Grace has already made my trip a positive experience.

I've called into Disney Dining a few times, and I spoke with Darla Grace twice (she was the FIRST person I spoke with.) She was so patient with me, realized I was going during the MNSSHP time, and during the Food & Wine festival. I hadn't heard about the party, and she told me about it. I was sold immediately. (The food & wine festival wouldn't work 'cause my dBF doesn't like wine.) Then, I was making more changes a few weeks later, and I got to talk with her again! Again, she gave me wonderful suggestions and I left the conversation feeling special.

I could tell that Darla Grace was smiling over the phone - both times that we spoke. It makes such a difference to me.

Thanks DARLA GRACE!!!!!!!

In over 30 trips to WDW - I have met more than my share of wonderful CM's... but none that are so special or so well remembered as DOUG !!! He is a guest services CM on Main St. that made our disneymoon the most special trip that I have ever taken. Doug truly went above and beyond what was required of him... it was obvious that Doug really loves his job and Disney.
I can't wait to come back home to WDW and visit Doug on Main St.!!!!

Chef Brad at the Kona Cafe is great! He was more than helpful with ds and my allergies when we were there 9/17. Thank you chef Brad! (and the french press coffe is amazing!)

I didn't catch his name, but the bellboy at the Poly was also great. My dh had already parked the car when I found out we were in Rapa Nui. So the CM collected our bags in the golf cart, drove my dh out to our car, waited for dh to follow him, drove to the best parking spot right by our building, waited for dh to park, then drove us all to our building. Service with a smile all the way!

Thank you to all the CM's out there, you help every trip be a special one for us.

Thank you to all the Cast Members in Walt Disney World. You all are great.
But there is one who is so very special......Clarisa from Wilderness Lodge, pin cart and Mercantile. She was so kind to our grandaughter, Sophie. Made her feel just like a princess on her 5th birthday. She remembered her day with special pins, balloons, and even a yummy chocolate totem pole. We haven't stayed at WL since that visit in 05, but we always come to WL each of our trips to say hello to Clarisa and tell her hello from Sophie. What a very special lady to our family.
Thanks Clarisa..
The Bollingers

We've also met many a wonderful CM's but the one that stands out the most on our trip July 2006 was Joan, she was out in front of Tony's at MK.

My 10 year old son is really into pin trading and she had a pin that he was looking for. Well after the trade, Joan really took time to talk with DS about what he liked and what he was looking for. DS looked for her everytime we stopped by MK. Joan's sincerity was genuine. That personal touch meant a lot to him. Thanks Joan!

Aloha,
Jen

I don't know her name, but I would like to thank the CM waitress at the Poly Kona Cafe. On my first day, my first meal in Disney, I asked her if they served caffine free diet coke. Unfortunately, at that time, they did not serve that. This CM went to the shop across the concourse, got a bottle of caffine free diet coke and brought it to me. (She also let me know that I could buy them there). This was just so very thoughtful and considerate.

David at CRT - Made a magical experience extraordinary and so very memorable! We saw him on the Wedding Special recently on The Food Network and my DD was so excited!

Susan at H & V - when DD-7 was sick, she rounded up some chicken soup and had it served by a chef complete with silver platter.

Matthew at Concierge service at ASMusic - printed our SWA boarding passes while we were enjoying ourselves at AK.

The CM at the Christmas Shoppe in MK who "Announced" my "Princess" DD when we entered the shop.

We spent 7 days in WDW in Dec 05 / Jan 06 and never once had a bad experience, we just didn't get everyones name. To all the CM's you all are great!

Our mousekeeper at POR(we stayed in 9213 in Oak manor) was wonderful. Her name was Gilma and we got the cutest towel animals every day along with a clean room. We didn't even have any kids with us but got them anyway. It was nice to come back to the room and see what she did that day. Thanks, Gilma! PS. I plan on writing a letter to Disney this weekend mentioning her. :goodvibes

I want to say a HUGE thank you to the cast member that was with Princess Aurora and Belle on September 21st at Epcot, around 3 or so, not sure of the time. She helped my boyfriend arrange for the most perfect proposal I could ever dream of, and in just a few moments time! Also, I also want to thank Belle, Aurora and the Beast for being a part of that proposal and giving me a wonderful memory that will last a lifetime. I feel so bad, because I was so stunned when my boyfriend proposed that I forgot to thank all of them, especially the cast member that helped my boyfriend set the scene to propose, and we never even got her name. But she helped make my day, my special moment, just perfect!

I neglected to get her name, but the CM at MGM during the parade was fantastic! We were sitting on the steps outside Playhouse Disney. She kept all the kids entertained while we waited and even had a bag of toys for them to play with. My DS loved playing hopscotch! That really made our vacation! :)
