I know when we redeem the vouchers we received for Give a Day Get a Day we have to show our ID. DH and I have drivers licenses. But our kids will need to show copies of their birth certificates. My question is, does Disney just look at the birth certificate copy or do they keep it too? I don't mind showing it to them but I have a problem letting them keep it. It's a good way for identity theft to happen. I'd like to know so we can be prepared when our kids go to redeem their vouchers. Thanks to anyone who can provide more info o
n this matter.

They just look at them. We used our original copies and they gave them right back!

Hello,
I see your question and I am glad that I saw it as we leave on Friday. We have our GDP tickets (for myself, dh and dd - ds wont need it cause hes a year old). I see that you have to have the birth certificates. Wouldn't a passport work as well? We always take the passport for ds (to prove that he is under 2), but if we can use their passports, which we will have anyway that would be great. I am guessing its probably not a big deal, the passport is an ID.

Thanks,

Whew, glad to know they just look at birth certs and don't keep them. Thanks for the help.

I just re-read the voucher ID requirements and your passports will be fine. We don't have passports, so that's why we have to take our kids' birth certs. HTH. Have fun at Disneyland!

That is awesome news, thanks a bunch :)

I am glad that I read this now instead of later.:thumbsup2
