Day 3 - Sept 18th - Tuesday
We woke up to a cloudy, windy, cold but dry day, so better than expected.
We had booked Good Morning Fantasyland Breakfast and had been told at the Hotel reception it started at 8.15 so woke up at 7.30, got the 8 something bus to be there at opening but when we got there we were told by a nice CM *we are sorry but today it starts at 9*.
pretty disappointing as it was cold and there were other families with little kids waiting there too.
Not much we could do but wait, Brian and me went into the RER station and got tickets for the next day as we wanted to go to Paris for a day trip.
Around 9 the crowd had got very big, some started complaining but nothing happened since 9.10 when the gate was opened and we could get into.
For a strange reason everyone went left and just a few of us went right of DL Hotel so we could get into quite easily and arrived at Chalet de la Marionette a lot earlier than the others.
Breakfast was good but not different from the one you have in your Hotel.
We finished about 9.45 so not really much time to have the park for ourselves, went to Space Mountain and it was out of service, Buzz was out of service too so we went to Star Tours.
When we got out SM was still not running, we asked a CM and were told it would had opened *sometimes in the morning* and so would Buzz.
Back to Fantasyland to try Pinocchio (no queue at all) then Frontierland and we rode Big Thunder Mountain a couple of times and went to Phantom Manor again.
BTW they have already started getting ready for Halloween and could see quite a few Pumpkins around Frontierland.
We then came back to Discoveryland and SM and Buzz were still out of order so we visited Nautilus and Brian and the kids went on Orbitron.
Eventually SM opened and both kids and me went in there.
It was the very first time of Enrico on a rollecoaster and was not a good one for me. We happened to be on the first wagon and it was so bumpy he said he felt like a broken neck. So did i can tell!!
So we had a go at the quieter Autopia for a change
It was time for a lunch break and we went back to Chalet de la Marionette. I had a salad, both kids Chicken Mc Nuggets and chips and Brian a Cheeseburger with chips.
Edoardo convinced Enrico to try Nemo and so back to WDS. The queue was longer then and Brian and me went on Flying Carpets and Cars and still had to wait a while to see them passing by. Enrico was not amused at first but then he said he could give it another try.
They wanted to see the Stuntmen again and so Brian and me went back to the Studio Tram Tour and had to wait a while as there was a queue (20 mins).
RnR Coaster was zero mins queue when the Stuntmen show was on but it seemed everyone wanted to go there after the show so i would advice to go on this ride when the show is on.
Queue was 10 mins when i met Edoardo so we went again.
I thought it was time for shopping then and as kids went back to Game Hall
Brian and me had a look in the Main Street shops and i wished i had a bag full of euros as i saw so many things i would had liked
Anyway got myself a pair of Minnie Fashionista silver trainers
The kids asked to ride Big Thunder Mountain and POTC again and as i said in the yesterday thread, i think it's pretty easy to go on these rides as the park is nearly to close.
On way back we stopped and watch Candleabration once more and then out to queue for Annette again.
Enrico had his Hot Dog, Edoardo and Brian the Double Cheesy Chili Burger and me the Lucky Leo Burrito Warps: Tortillas filled with rice and chicken, two huge tortillas would say.
Then Enrico and me shared the Sunday Monday Happy Days Ice Cream, Edoardo had an Irish Cream Milkshake and Brian little donuts filled with ice cream and caramel - all big desserts can tell.
We had a walk through the shops in the Village again and then it was cold and my feet were burning so Brian and me went to the Hotel and the kids stayed another while in the Village before we all went *nite-nite*
End of day 3 - hope i have not bored you to death
