Corinna, I do know that Terri (AaronandTerri) originally said that she wanted to come but she didn't have anyone to share with. Not sure if she still wants to but it might be worth getting in touch with her to see if she wanted to share with you, if you're not getting anywhere with Michelle.

Joh, thanks for that. I really appreciate it. If I have not heard from Michelle by Sunday evening, I will contact Terri to see if she is still interested in coming. You guys really rock. I can't wait to meet you in person.

Corinna

hi
i had a similar problem in the sat night being fully booked although there is some availbility on the friday still so it would only be a change one night, i was still thinking of coming but had been put off having no one to share with and having to switch hotels alone one night too, so hadnt quite decided what to do.(terrible descision maker)
does everyone know how there travelling there yet?

just to add i am actually booked already for the friday, was hoping something would open up nearer the time in the hotel for sat and make up my mind for me over sat.
I have looked at trains with virgin from london and its around 1.5 - 2hrs depending on which time you go with, does anyone know how far the station is to the hotel?

Hi Terri! I still can't decide about the travelling - I'm hoping to meet up with friends either side of the weekend and just can't decide whether to drive or take the train!!! :faint: It's not just you who can't make decisions... :goodvibes

New Street is near the hotel - about a 5 minutes walk if I remember rightly so very convenient... :thumbsup2

I will be going by train, but coming from the other direction (Manchester). I will respond to your PM shortly.

Corinna

Bought myself a dress yesterday to wear on the Saturday night, £18 from Tesco!

I had a PM from Michelle yesterday and she can't make it to the Girly Weekend.

In the meantime Terri and I had a chat on the phone yesterday and we are all set.

Oooh what's it like, Claire???

Sorry Michelle can't make it but that's great news about you and Terri, Corinna!!! :woohoo: Look forward to comparing Pandora bracelets... ;)

Its black with gold spots/circles. Sits on the knee, very slimming!

Sounds lovely!!! I love the shorter length dresses - maybe I'll find one to coax me out of my habitual trousers/jeans when I'm out and about tomorrow... ;)

What a shame that Michelle can't make it now but glad you and Terri were able to hook up, Corinna - looking forward to seeing everyone :)

Just went through the thread and realised I'd missed these crucial pieces of info...

I have booked a table at the Ha Ha Bar and Grill for 7:45 pm on the Saturday night. No deposit required :thumbsup2

Have now booked the table at Old Orleans as well, for 8 pm on Friday 4th. And, according to the lovely girl, I spoke to they are even going to decorate the table with balloons and stuff for us :thumbsup2

Thanks very much, Joh!!! They sound fab... :goodvibes Thanks for organising that for us...

Now I have a few questions. Firstly, what time do you think we'll be meeting up to kick off festivities on Friday pm? Secondly, any idea of the check-in/check-out times?? Oh and if I get there early, do you think I can drop off my case at the hotel even if it's twirly to check-in???

I have the day off and plan to leave as soon as I've dropped Daniel at school so will probably be at Nat's around midday. Last time we headed straight to Mandy's where we had a little drinky before Paul kindly drove us into Birmingham. Not sure what the arrangements will be this time (I'm happy to drive if needs be) but I would think we will be there about 2ish, as Nat says :)
