SUNDAY 21ST OCTOBER HRH, IOA & HHN
GirlsonTour Trip Report 11th October 2007 25th October 2007
Coronado Springs Resort and Hard Rock Hotel
Andrea chief planner, chief of money (for this holiday) and generally chief of everything.
Andy chief provider of money and unwilling participant of this holiday
Kara chief spender of money and very willing participant of this holiday due to the fact that Mum and Dad were paying.
Lucy chief of all red heads and chief moaner (especially in hot weather).
Up and ready to leave Disney and go to our favourite hotel, Hard Rock. I think we were all ready for a change of scenery and the girls were looking forward to their ride in a stretched limo.
Leaving CSR..
Arrived at HRH to a wonderful welcome the Valet guys remembered us (well they remembered Kara!!
)
Left luggage and headed to IOA to swap vouchers for hard tickets and upgrade Kara and Andys tickets to stay and scream for tonight. Lucy and I had wisely decided that it wasnt really our scene and used the excuse that you had to be 15 years old to get in..therefore I offered to baby sit!
Kara looking forward to her night out!!
IOA was empty, as we found with both the Universal parks. The girls love IOA because of the roller coasters.
Got into room at about 3.30pm just as the heavens opened! As most of you will know the rooms have had a refurb so we took loads of photos of them:
And the bathroom before we wrecked it....
Andy and Kara got a quick change and we headed out at 5.30pm for them to go via IOA into the holding bays for HHN. It was pouring down, in fact the worst weather that they could have possibly had.
Lucy and I had a look round City Walk I wanted to take her to the cinema but she was very tired and was a little bit scared of all the crowds heading into HHN. Had a peep through the gates of Universal but I think that is as far as Lucy and I will ever get to going. We went back to the room at 7pm and promptly fell asleep.
Andy and Kara arrived back at 9.45pm having been in every house it was so wet out that Kara had to bin her shoes! They had wisely decided not to take the camera with them because of the rain. They were glad that they had been but couldnt say that they loved it Kara was most put out that Andy wouldnt hold her hand in the houses!! She said that she had been very scared.
Headed off to the Hard Rock Café for a late dinner.
Lucy and our server..I wonder if on their application forms it states "don't bother applying unless you are trendy??
"
Tomorrow: Universal, Hooters and Crazy Golf
