The app I'm using is called "Quickoffice" and it came with my (android) phone. You can't edit anything, but you can view office stuff with it. The paid version lets you edit. I can do without that. LOL

It opened fine on my iPhone too.

Capri, it's a trap! Don't fall for it. :rolleyes1

I am wise to these sweet-talking ways.

Good morning ladies and TGIF!!! It's a 3-day weekend for me since my kids are out of school on Monday for a teacher inservice day and my son talked me into booking a 1-bedroom villa for his girlfriends birthday.

I'll just say my son sure loves to spoil his girlfriend, but at my expense LOL (I do make him repay me by working it off and watching Laila when I need a break). But I want him to be a thoughtful husband in the future so I encourage him.

His plans for her birthday also include a gift basket and cake in the room from Vacation Planning and lunch at Blue Bayou .

It should be fun especially since I also get to hang out with Adara which is a very rare opportunity now-a-days.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend!

How fun! What a nice mom you are!

Feel free to encourage Justin in this department. He doesn't ever plan anything. Don't you feel bad for me now? Get out the tissues. :sad1: :goodvibes

Happy Friday!

Katie, Capri, Mel - Lisa & I are up with the Lounge. And Mel, I also called it the Wine Bar also - did not know it's proper name!!

Starting to put the Scavy Hunt Package together - :magnify::magnify::magnify:

Gonna be fun!!:yay::yay:

I think Katie and Mel are going to CoD, but would love for you and Lisa and whomever else to join Linda and I at the lounge. Should be fun to sit and visit!

Yay for fun! Fun I like! :cheer2:

I'm not going to CoD. Well, I was thinking about it, just to walk around and check it out, but it's probably best if I don't. I'm not much of a shopper, but still, no sense in being tempted. ;) So, if you don't mind, I'll join Linda and you, and whomever else, at the lounge. I'm also not much of a drinker, but that's ok. I'll take a sip of something and pass it on. :rotfl:

Did I miss some good news???:confused3:confused3:confused3

Does this mean you are going Beth??

So confused???

We'd love to have you join us! You can taste test all of my wine. I know how much you love it after seeing you fall in LOVE with it in October when you tried it for the first time. Your expression said it all! ;)

:worship::worship: Hello ladies! A thousand apologies for not following what's been going on. I keep trying to but just don't get the chance to. :guilty::flower3:

I've become a hippity hoppin gangsta. All I do is dance and it's freakin fun. :teeth:

My friends and I are part of a dance challenge. Every week my teacher gives us a challenge to complete. It's just for fun but we have to dance for 100 consecutive days. Since we do that anyways, we thought we would join. Each week is a different challenge and we film a video of us dancing. :) It's been 2 weeks into the challenge and we are filming our 3rd one this weekend. I'm excited and kinda nervous because we have solo parts (whatever we want, freestyle for 8 counts). I just thought of steps I'm going to do and am excited. One is where you kick out with one leg and jump back and cross your arms at the same time and the other is where you kinda grind and swing your hips upward/forward. It's not hoochy or distasteful I promise!! :lmao:

I liked Maliboomer. I can not ride the swinging gondolas because of extreme motion sickness, no fear, just vomit. :scared1:

Oh, and I love tofu too.

Have I covered everything?

AmyOkraSue

:surfweb:

Yep!

I solved this problem years ago. One day I wrote down the names of everything I know how to make. Separate papers for main dishes ,soups, sides, salads. etc. Now I just look through the pages and pick out things to make for the week and shop accordingly. It makes it so easy . I try new things a lot but if it's not well received it doesn't go on the list.

Very good idea! I've been adding notes to the meal plan prints outs, forgetting that making lo mein is terribly messy to make (I need a deeper pan) was not a good evening. I managed to sling noodles over the side of the stove, noodles sliding out of the colander and down the drain, noodles stuck to the pan... no more noodles! Gah!

Oh, I've been on the TOT. Twice actually. It gives my hubby the giggles too. It's one of his favorite rides. It gives me the YIKES!

I like the swinging gondolas though, so what does that make me...weird? :rolleyes1
Yes, but in a good way. :thumbsup2

Yeah for Beth! I'm so happy you are going. Of course you will have a wonderful time! I am afraid I really have to admit to myself that I am not going to be able to go. I just can't get anyone to watch the kids and it is hard to justify the expense since I don't have an income right now.

I am ok though because plans are coming along nicely for the family trip in August to DW. I have just confirmed our first week in Bay Lake Towers, which I am thrilled about. Now to get week two firmed up and then I will be content. I am working on our must do list and touring plans, so feel free to pass along any advice:)

Seriously, the trip is shaping up very nicely and I know you all will have a wonderful time. I will miss you again!

Tracey

I will be.
I was going to ask if Holly and I could ride with you but....
I hate those swinging gondolas. And yet, I've been on them at least four times. Why do I insist on punishing myself?? :confused3 What would Freud say about that?

I can make that change if it's all cool with her. That would mean it's Jess, Mel, you and your DD. Will that work, Jess? :)
It looks like I was too slow responding! ;) Who can fit Holly and I?

As far as the swinging pendulums of death go - no thank you. I would get stuck at the top for an obscene amount of time. I hate ferris wheels because you go around twice and the rest of the time you are waiting while they load and unload. I would be sitting there thinking about all the rides I am missing out on.
She announced it on Facebook. She finally gave in to the peer pressure. Good work ladies! :thumbsup2 :cool1: ;)
Woo hoo!!! :dance3:

I am so ready for this weekend! Last night, Open House, went well, but it was a long 14 hour day. My book and couch are calling me. BTW....I carry my kindle around DL nowadays to read in long lines. Don't judge. :rotfl:

Capri~ I HATED, I mean LOATHED TOT for the longest time after a scary fiasco where Brydon was slipping under the seatbelt. This year he begged to ride it again so I have been forced to try it - and I actually kinda enjoy it now. If you remember last Diva trip I wouldn't ride it, but times have changed. Speaking of TOT - did any of you see the youtube video of the kids who don't wear their seatbelts while riding it? What idiots.

Awwwww, we're going to miss you Tracey. :sad1:

But super YAY on your trip to WDW in August! And two weeks - AWESOME! :cheer2:

Bay Lake Towers?!! That is going to be great! Can't beat the location and views. So, how excited are you? ::yay: :goodvibes

I can totally do TOT, but no wheel-of-death-swinging-gondola-OMG-I'm-going-to-die.

why does this thing not have a seatbelt?
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee sliding off my seat, make desperate grab for hubby -HELP!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
I don't care if it now has a cutesy Mickey head... it's scary.. and so NOT nice.

I like the swinging WOD as long as I'm riding alone or with maybe one other who doesn't rock it any more than it swings by itself. I rode with my friend Paula and one of her boys in October and it was good. I rode with Patrice and her grown son last year and 3 adults gave it a little more swing than I like, but it was still not terrible. I love riding it by myself.

Capri - If Mr Wonderful doesn't get himself a real job again soon, I may be forced by finances to skip CoD (too many temptations!) and wine and cheese sounds DIVINE! Of course, wine ALWAYS sounds divine.... is it 5PM yet?

Does this mean you are going Beth??
::yes::

:lmao: I'm sorry but that stuff was nasty. :rotfl2:

It's not hoochy or distasteful I promise!! :lmao:

It's true....I am weak. :upsidedow

Aw Tracey, we'll miss you!! But that is so awesome. Two weeks in WDW. And at BLT? Cool. :thumbsup2

Monica and Melissa both have room for 4 passengers. In fact, it seems rather silly for them both to drive. Why don't you, Holly and one of those ladies all pick a car and go together? Just have either Monica or Melissa drive.

And yes, I did see that clip with the kids not buckled in. Idiots!

Of course, wine ALWAYS sounds divine.... is it 5PM yet?
Come on now, you know it's always 5 o'clock somewhere. ;)

Luckily my kids are old enough to ride it alone or ride it with their dad....thank the LORD! Although Luke doesn't like the TOT either, so now I've got some backup within the family. :goodvibes

...is it 5PM yet?

It's close enough. :thumbsup2

Come and join us for some wine and cheese! :yay:

But I like hoochy and distasteful. :rolleyes1

Don't we all? :confused3

And when it comes to wine, well, we just need to develop your palette.

About rides to CoD - maybe Lisa and I could ride with Jessica since she is in our villa group at the Grand? Although I guess it really doesn't matter as long as we could get dropped off there. I am bringing a suitcase to fill. ;)

Well, I sure missed this one. Slowly trying to catch up on the pages I missed while watching Being Human on Netflix is not a good idea. It takes 10 minutes for one page to load.

I've already got Mel with me and then I can fit either you and Lisa or Jen and Holly. You can duke it out and let me know who wins ;)

She asked first :) We can ride with Monica or Melissa if they allow us :hippie:
