Morning ladies!!

I'm wandering my house in daze....did some cleaning & now have a full day of laundry. I'm emotionally drained & feel like I'm in zombie mode.......just doing but not saying much or feeling much.

For those not on FB, Michayla broke off her feeding tube button & a 30 min. switch out turned in to her being admitted & going without a feed for 21 hrs. We finally came home with a temp. fix & will get it replaced with the right one on the 20th. I was upset with the children's hospital that no one on a weekend knew how to replace the kind she had in......it was very frustrating. When I got home, I received a call from my older brother that my stepmom, who had been battling cancer for 30 yrs had passed away in the morning. She is the first parent I've lost & just kinda at a loss on dealing with this.

Anywho.......Jazz, glad your kitty came back home!! Have fun tonight Sarah at DL!! Rochelle, I'm so glad you're enjoying your hip hop classes....you go girl!! Welcome home Stacie, can't wait to see some pics!! Glad you're settling into your new home Sarah!! I'm sure there were other things to comment on, but I forgot already.

Hope everyone's week goes good & for those going to DL this weekend....I hope the days fly by so you can get your party on!!

Good Morning Ladies,

My hip hop class was fun last night. I went to a different studio (my class basically rents out studio place at various locations). I get to take off work early today for the AP exclusive soundsational parade event. I still don't know what that is but one of my friends invited me and I am going.

This week my hip hop teacher is having an 80's/Footloose club night. I am not sure if I will go but it sounds kinda fun. They said we are welcome to dress up in flashy glow fingerless gloves or dress all funky if we would like. I have a class on Thurs prior to that but it would be hard for me to drive home and shower and then go to the club. I heard that the dance studio has a shower but I need to ask. If so, it would be a lot easier for me and I could go. I'm not really into a lot of 80's music (ducks head to prevent from being stoned). lol. Still, I think it would be really fun.

So how many of you ladies are going to get down with me at ElecTRONica next weekend?

I'm baaack!

My boys and I went to DL for a week. I didn't mention the trip online beforehand because it was our first real vacation in three years (since my ex and I split up), and I really wanted to focus on the boys and them having fun. We were all so excited to go, especially returning to DL. DS7 was now tall enough to ride everything, and DS11 was excited to experience it all with him.

Unfortunately there were some bumps along the way, so it wasn't the best vacation. But we had some highlights as well, of course. It's Disneyland, after all!

And all that rain on the 4th & 5th in SoCal? I think we brought it with us from Seattle. So you're welcome.

Today I got another tattoo It is a beautiful antique key with a fancy pink ribbon - I LOVE it. When it heals I will take a photo and post the picture.

I certainly did, it's been raining most of the time since we came back. I did see a little bit of sun this afternoon, which was nice. {sigh}

Our cab driver taking us to SNA said this week the temps are supposed to hit the 90s, so I guess a day and a half of rain in DL is better than energy-sapping heat for a week... At least that's what I'll tell myself. We PNWers don't handle the heat well.

I have me a new Apple computer. I can't believe how much faster it is, compared to our old one. The old one was an Apple too, but I think it just had too much stuff on it, and it was time to upgrade.

We had so much fun at Mickey's Halloween Party and the AP Party! I am SO tired!

We got two huge back backs full of candy and we only hit each station once.

We ran into Stacerita and Cristabel while in line for Alice at the AP party.

I'm not bad with the dentist as long as it's just the routine cleanings. Mention "filling", "drill" or "crown" and the dentist calls in a nice little rx to the pharmacy for valium for me. LOL But yesterday's cleaning appointment really did a number on my jaw. It's still sore.

I have to say, I'm kind of jealous of the weather down there right now. Half of my trip I had to put up with rain and I would have gladly taken 100+ days. I love the heat. If it were up to me I would have traded with anyone but sadly I can't control that.

I'm a Bay Area weather wuss. I was born in Berkeley and live west of the Caldecott until I was 12 and then just on the other side. It gets over 90 and I start to suffer. Dad was born and raised in the City. Any time the temps got over 78, he was miserable. I am my father's daughter. LOL I can deal with a few 100 degree days as long as it's a nice DRY heat. Add even a smidge of humidity and I am DONE. LOL
