Sitting here to my thoughts I came up with a M&G theme for next year :rotfl: It's never too early to start planning and thinking right? haha
Oh? popcorn:: Do tell.

Good luck to all those running marathons soon! And good luck training for those who are thinking of doing the half in September. I can't even begin to imagine how you even start training to run 13 miles! :worship:

And Katie, I second what Jen and Mel said, you are a hottie!!!! :smokin:

No kidding. If I'm going 13 miles, there are wheels involved, even if it's a bike. LOL

There is a shiny medal at the end of it that will be all that keeps me going, not sure about everybody else.

It must be getting closer to the trip because I'm about 7 pages behind :scared1::scared1::scared1::scared1:.

No kidding! I was about 10 pages behind! :scared1:
The trip is getting closer! Haven't been to DL since August and am experiencing serious withdraws!

All the plans look great. :)

And I echo whoever reminded us to PM Laurie - I finally decided what to bring and someone beat me to it! Back to the thinking board.

There's over 40 ladies going to the M&G, surely you're not expected to bring 40 or more of each treat? I would think that doubles of some would be ok.
I know last year more than one person brought a couple of the treats, it didn't seem to be an issue.

I think we were told to bring treats for 45? Something like that. What I'm bringing came in a package of 50, so I'm good.

We had dbls last year too & we had plenty........I'm pretty laid back when it comes to this table...if there's something you want to bring or already have.....that's fine....this should be a stress-free decision!! :rotfl:

I just ask if you bring something that's not individually packaged that you bring something for the ladies to put it in!! :thumbsup2

If I mention it, it will build up excitement like the Unbirthday theme suggestion of 2011 and then never come to fruition. So my lips are sealed for now.

And you should join us! You can always walk :)

And sometimes a Tarzan in a loincloth on the sidelines....:rolleyes1

Steph! Big hugs! :hug:Hope your recent tests come out good!:flower3:

Beth, could you please change the Sunday breakfast from LaBrea to
Whitewater Snacks/or Jolly Holiday Bakery?
Thank you.:flower3:

I got a call from my brother last night, that my dad is in the hospital. My dad is in the end stages of alzheimer's (and my step-mom passed a couple months ago). He won't leave his oxygen on & his sats keep dropping...so they took him in & also think he has some pulminary embolisms. It sounds like we (my brothers & I) may need to make a decision on his medical care & possibly call in hospice. This is not something I ever wanted to face.......my family could use your prayers. Thanx ladies!

AS FOR THE MEET -N- GREET SNACK TABLE:

IN THE PAST, WE ASKED THE LADIES TO BRING ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE, WE HAVE A HUGE GROUP THIS YEAR & HAVING SOME REPEATS ON ITEMS ISN'T A BAD THING. I WAS TOLD TO FIGURE ONE PER PERSON, BUT REMEMBERING THE AMOUNT THAT WAS LEFT ON THE TABLE AT THE END OF THE PARTY LAST YEAR......I'M NOT SURE WE TRULY NEED THAT MUCH. I DO ASK THAT IF YOU ARE MAKING A SPECIAL THING/BRINGING A SPECIAL THING (those doing that know who they are)......MAKE SURE THERE IS ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE, SINCE IT'S A SPECIAL ITEM.

RIGHT NOW WE HAVE 45, BUT I'D LIKE TO HAVE A FEW SPARES JUST IN CASE.

IF YOU BRING SOMETHING THAT IS NOT INDIVIDUALLY WRAPPED, PLEASE BRING SOMETHING FOR THE LADIES TO PUT IT INTO.

THANX!! :cool1:

Laurie :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

So sorry to hear that - you and your family are in my prayers. Be the strong woman that you are and know that you have the Diva's love and support!!

Okay, I am looking at my schedule and have some holes to fill. I am staying until Tuesday morning. Anyone want to plan on a meal for lunch or dinner on Monday? We can probably make this reservation ourselves since it most likely will only be a few of us?

What are the plans on Sunday evening? Is this the evening that people are going to try to watch WOC?

Thanks so much!

Good morning, ladies!! Happy Hump Day!!

Linda, you are a lovely lady and could never look sausage-y. I can't wait to see everyone's costumes, or t-shirts as the case may be, for the Meet and Greet!!

Hi Becci!! You and Katie better keep up. Don't make me get out my whip!

;)

Lisa, I couldn't even do 13 miles on a bike! :sad2: I am old and fat. The poor bike would probably literally cry out in pain if I sat on it. :rotfl2:

Jess, I'm glad the shiny medal motivates you!! For it to motivate me, it would have to be solid gold. :rolleyes1 Seriously, I think all you runners are awesome. :worship:

Jen, a Tarzan in a loincloth you say?? :hyper: Hmmm, maybe there's something to this running thing after all!!!!

Chris, I'm sure no one will complain if we have double the treats. ;) Like Laurie said, the snack table is just a fun thing. I'm so glad it's a tradition we've kept. Even if it did morph from candy buffet to snack buffet, which is just as good if not better. ::yes::

Hi Mel! I will definitely change that for you. (Pssst! Just go to Jolly Holiday Bakery. It's shiny and new. You know you wanna.) :p

Laurie, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I will say a prayer for him, and also for you that you have the strength to handle this and make the decisions that need to be made, however difficult they may be.

Maybe someone local can join you for a meal on Monday. I'm not sure if anyone is staying through that whole day....

Sunday evening is the WOC viewing. On the FB page, Chris and a few others had mentioned making a dining reservation for dinner at WTC for the WOC viewing. While others, Stacie I think, were just going to get fastpasses.
I'm not sure if Trader Sam's is still happening. :confused3

Steph, I'm so sorry for the challenges you're facing. I can't even imagine. Sending you hugs and pixie dust!
This may sound odd, but if you wanted to meet somewhere, like maybe Ontario at a place the kids could play, such as a Chuck E. Cheese or park some day, I'd be happy to meet up with you and have a Box Tops counting and cutting party! Or some evening with just adults and a Starbucks or Denny's.

Just sent you a text Laurie. Sending love and hugs to you!

I've had a "catch phrase" stuck in my head lately....not really a M&G theme, but it's "Doing Disneyland Diva Style"

Crazy girl you are a hottie!
Drink green tea in the morning and 2-3 liters of water throughout the day - no soda's - that should jump start you :) And you can always hop over to my room during the trip where I will be making a healthy breakfast every morning :drinking:

Is anyone planning on doing the DL Half this Septemeber? DH just gave me permission so I will be there as long as I can get my entry early enough. Thankfully I should have a free frequent flyers flight by then.

I'm running it again. :thumbsup2

There is a shiny medal at the end of it that will be all that keeps me going, not sure about everybody else.

I run for the medals too!

Tink even spins in the center. Pretty awesome, huh?

I love it! And seeing the actual medal at the Expo back in September just made me want it even more.

Now, I have to get off to the DMV. I still haven't gotten my registration renewal notice on my car and I would really like to get that taken care of before I leave next week. Fun, fun times.

Have a great Wednesday everyone!!

Laurie, I know what you are going through, and it is very hard. :sad1:
Many prayers  and hugs  to you and your family. Take care.
