Hi ladies. I'm catchIng up from the Orlando airport where I'm waiting for my flight home. I had a great time at WDW but I'm so sorry I missed seeing so many ofyou at Disneyland. The weather this week has been perfect - upper 80's and very little humidity. I hear it's raining back home in Calif. Hope everyone who was at Disneyland had a great time and stayed dry. Bridget sounds like your trip was a blast and woo hoo for a visit to Club 33.

Welcome Lisa. It will be great to meet you in March.

Hi everyone! I'm chilling for a few to get my blood pressure back down. My mother is making me INSANE. I know I am an impatient person, but in recent years my mom suddenly has LESS than NO patience at ALL. She takes side streets because she hates driving on roads with stoplights. She expects that when she turns on the computer or clicks on something, it will be ready INSTANTLY. So when she clicks to open something and it doesn't instantly appear, she KEEPS CLICKING until it shows up. Then she complains that her computer is slow and when she tries to shut down there are "10 or 20 copies of things she has to close out of". She's now asking if the reasonher new computer is "different" is because it's an HP and her old one was a Dell. Um, no. Your old one was whatever version of Windows came with it in 2005 and the new one is Windows 7. I'm just SO GLAD that my sister is the one that talked her into this new laptop (I knew she would hate the laptop, I told her to stick with a PC, but noooooooo). Is it "wine-thirty" yet?

I need a Disney fix. Gonna go turn on the Lion King and work on my earrings I'm making for Halloween......

Mark me down as another stressed Diva. I have way too much going on and by the end of the day when I pull into the garage, I have to just sit in my car for a moment and have a mini meltdown. This to shall pass...hopefully sooner, rather than later.

Plus I have a 3-day weekend . If Laila is 100% better (or at least 90% ), we're going to Disneyland on Monday .

Yay for three day weekends It's Thanksgiving here on Monday, so technically it's a three day weekend here too, but I've got way too much training to get through, so no weekend for me....... boo.

I'm thinking of heading over there after work. I saw some pictures on the Disney Store Facebook page, but I'm excited to see it and the rest of the new wing in person!


No three day weekend here, but I do have two 5ks tomorrow...that's kinda the same, right? Well, the second one is called "Octobrewfest" so that one will be fun, especially since the first beer is free after the race!

Happy Friday ladies!

Last night I went clubbing. One of my friends was supposed to go with me but she got stuck late at work I ended up going anyways and I got to dance with all my fellow hip hop peeps from my class and my teacher. My teacher was happy to see me there and he hugged me. I could tell he was proud of me for getting out of my comfort zone and just going. I met some nice people in my class recently and they danced with me. There were free drinks for the first 2 hours and I tried a screwdriver. It had cranberry juice and vodka and at first it was okay but after a 2-3 sips, it was getting too strong and I switched to bottled water. Yes, I am an alcohol prude and just can't seem to find anything I like the taste of. lol. At least I tried! I think this clubbing night will be really fun. It's every Thurs and it was really fun

I took a pic with my teacher- I will upload it to FB later. He looked really cute all dressed up. His boyfriend was dancing at the club and I recognized him. He was in the hip hop house music class I tried earlier this week. He was dancing in the class and he also teaches another type of class at that studio. My teacher thought it was funny that I recognized him. lol.

Tonight I was asked to try out a hip hop class by a girl who was in Fish N' Chips on Season 1 of America's Best Dance Crew. I think it will be fun and I might as well give it a shot.

Tomorrow is my fav. DJ's bday and he is spinning tomorrow Woot! Woot! Hope you guys have a great day

Free beer is always good. LOL! NICE Disney store! And I bought a Vinylmation. Lion King series. Got Baby Simba. Normally there are only one or two in a series that I want, but this series there are only one or two that I DON'T want, so I figured my odds were good. LOL

Happy Friday Ladies....been a while since I posted but have been following along. Not much going on here. The weather has changed & we're cold & wet.....actually had to turn on the heater. Hard to believe we were hovering around 90 two weeks ago.

We got our letter from the IRS that our claim has been processed, now it's just a waiting game for them to mail out of check. I have to laugh, if we owed them, they'd be banging on my door......wonder if that works in reverse?? As soon as the money comes in, we'll start looking for a new rental home in Corvallis. Mike's tired of commuting already.....

We're finally getting the window repaired next week.....it had to be ordered in, but we're getting a good deal on it!! Michayla's finger has pretty much healed up but we think she'll have a nice scar to show for it.

Hiding from the apt full of teenagers, save me!!! Okay, they are not that bad, they are all happily engaged in videoness while dh is dialyzing (playing his own xbox/TV) and I chill in the bedroom half watching some weird old movie with a somewhat young Cary Grant.

I signed up and won yet ANOTHER set of tickets. We are going on Tuesday night to a local well known club/concert venue called First Ave (it's where Prince started out and would try new songs/styles before recording.. in the 80's...long before he emerged as that weird love sxy symbol thingie) to see Ziggy Marley. We're not big fans, but we have listened to a few songs on his latest album.. much better sound than his older stuff. Think about it, years to step out of his father's shadow and become known for his own music. Should be a fun night!
