Hi!! My friend and I are planning on a girls trip to WDW in October. What are some fun ideas of things we can do? If you've been on a girls trip, what was your favorite thing about it?

FYI-She doesn't drink, so nothing revolving around alcohol!

We definitely want to do MNSSHP!

I've been on girl trips both with my BFF and my sister - our favourite thing to do is book an afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian.

If you don't want to focus on alcohol, what about food?? Eating your way around the World Showcase is SO much fun! I did it on my last trip, and I've already complied a list of new treats for my next! (Which I would be more than willing to share ;) )

YES Please share!! haha Eating is high priority for us!

We have a non-park day built into our upcoming “Girls Only” trip. Our day will consist of breakfast at Boma, shopping at the Marketplace, and an early dinner at House of Blues followed by the 6 PM performance of La Nouba. I think I might be looking forward to this day the most!

I did a girls trip with a gf last year during Food & Wine and we had a blast! I am a drinker and she is not, but we both found plenty to do (and eat) there without a doubt. We only went for 2 nights, but we managed to also get in some relaxing pool time, shopping at DTD, and a dinner at Victoria & Albert's. (Completely worth the splurge, by the way.)

It was honestly such a different perspective for me, since my 6 previous trips were always with my daughter, but in a good way. We rode a couple of rides, but nothing like that was a must do. We really enjoyed people watching and sitting and talking as adults without all of life's craziness in the background. Plus we're both total foodies and could have done the F&W at Epcot all week long if it was a option.

Above is the link for 2014 and it's somewhat bare now, but it will fill up with the menus and tons of information as it gets closer. I think it will also lead you to the 2013 site so you can get a feel for foods offered, etc.

Okay so..first of all, I just spent like 2 hrs reading your trip report for your DD's 5th birthday. Your family is SO sweet. (The video of you surprising her...I cried. It is clearly too late for me LOL.)

Second of all, you say eating is high priority??? Ok, now I'm getting envious of your upcoming trip--may I please tag along? I promise I'm fun ;)

Since I read your trip report, I saw that you did eat around Epcot on your last visit! I don't think there are any of the same snacks on my list...however a popular one that I did leave out is the kakigori.

EPCOT FOOD CRAWL '14

MEXICO
LA CANTINA DE SAN ANGEL
Churritos with Caramel Sauce $3.99

NORWAY
KRINGLA BAKERI OG KAFE
Berry Cream Puff $4.29
(You seriously cannot go wrong with anything they offer here though)

CHINA
JOY OF TEA
Pork and Vegetable Egg Rolls $3.99

AFRICAN OUTPOST
AFRICA REFRESHMENT COOLPOST
Fountain Beverages $3.19
Bottled Water $2.50
Frozen Slushes (Coca-Cola, Lemonade, or Strawberry) $3.99
(Ok, so you get the idea...I'm cheating! I like being able to say I got something from everywhere, but the truth of the matter is, some of these stops just don't have anything special to offer! In order to consider it checked off, I buy my drinks (generally water) from these stops!)

GERMANY
KARAMEL KUCHE
Caramel Corn - Small Bag $3.99
- Large Bag $5.99
(If popcorn isn't your thing--EVERYTHING HERE IS GOOD! Especially the pineapple :worship: )

ITALY
VIA NAPOLI ITALIAN SORBETTO & VINO KIOSK
Pizzelle $4.75

AMERICA
BLOCK & HANS
Jalapeno Cheese Pretzel $4.75

JAPAN
KABUKI CAFÉ
Miso Soup $3.50

MOROCCO
MOROCCO BEVERAGE STAND
Soda $2.50
Bottled Water $2.50
(Another cheat! :confused3 )

FRANCE
L’ARTISAN des GLACES ARTISAN ICE CREAM & SORBET & LES HALLES BOULANGERIE PATISSERIE
(This is where it gets difficult...if you can stomach it, go to both. No sense in me putting ANY suggestion here, because once you get there--you will want to pick out EVERYTHING. I highly suggest that you partake of all France has to offer, even if it means skipping the next two places. These updated places are unmissable, but extremely rich and filling. Especially the ice cream! I couldn't even finish my one scoop of pomegranate sorbet!)

UNITED KINGDOM
ROSE & CROWN Kiosk
Bottled Water $2.50
(you are gonna need it, LOL!)

CANADA
REFRESHMENT PORT
Croissant Doughnut $4.49

And there you have it!!! If you'd like substitute suggestions for things on here you might not care for, just let me know!

Oh, and also! With the exception of the large bag of caramel corn in Germany, everything is on the DDP for 1 snack credit, if you are using them! (:

That's an idea I didn't even think of! I think this weekend trip needs to be like a 2 week trip! haha

Glad to know we can both have fun, having different interests!! :) Thanks!

Awwww thanks for reading my TR!!!! I loved writing it so much. I still go back and read through it to relive those moments! :) I almost cry every time I think about surprising Olivia!!! hahaha

Of course you can come! LOL

Thanks for all the food suggestions! They all sound awesome!

I went on a girls trip two years ago, and it was great. One thing I would definitely recommend doing is high tea at The Grand Floridian it was lovely and relaxing. Of course there is always shopping in Downtown Disney, and at Epcot world showcase. Also have fun with it,wear goofy hats take silly pictures just because this is a trip for grown ups doesn't mean you have to act like it.
