Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

Evening all!

Yay, my shirt won and I didn't have to vote. I have no clue what colour shirt I want. It all depends on the weather. I take different pants/shorts if it is hot, warm or cool. I'll need about 4 changes of clothes and I'll probably pack 8!

I'm 39, single..never married and no kids. I get into enough trouble on my own I don't need a man around to get in the way. (right now, rofl)

I'm not posting a picture but I'm sure Dagny or Chris will post one of our MANY group ladies pictures that I look HORRID in. We've been on 3 trips together since Oct 06. (All thanks to Beth's first Ladies Trip to WDW...me signing up for that brought out all my online friends out to play and we haven't stopped yet)

Okay.... I am 27, I have been married for 3 years and we have 2 kids. Alex is 5, and Mikalah is 2. Alex will be 6 next week. AND.... We JUST found out that we are having another baby!!!! So I wont be able to go on the thrill rides in April.. But I dont mind so much!

How do you know the newest member-to-be won't like the thrill rides and hate the tame ones. He/she might not let you on Peter Pan but might let you ride Space Mountain over and over. It could be the DL version of morning sickness!

Hey gals! I tell ya, this electronic detox is KILLER! I'm cheating a bit tonight and surfing while I get ready to watch Grey's Anatomy! Ok, so I'm cheating a lot. Dang it! Woudn't ya know, it's a rerun! That's what I get for cheating.

This is the schedule so far for Friday:

Friday, April 25:
(Disneyland 8 a.m. - Midnight and California Adventure 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.)

Breakfast: Something light in the room?

Lunch: At the Blue Bayou around 11:30
VIP Tour after lunch?

Dinner: ???


I figured with such an early lunch, we'd either skip breakfast or eat whatever we brought in the room before we head out.

But with it being an early lunch, we'll probably be starving by the time dinner rolls around, and we don't have any plans for that yet.

I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts were on that?

Meal in the park? (that will be the day most people are there)
Counter Service?
Food and Wine booths?

Did Callie ever pick a day for Yamabuki?

I agree with just eating something quick in the room before we head out since lunch is so early, or grabbing something on the way in. I would prefer to do F&W booths or CS that night. Either would be fine with me. Heck, I could just grab a corn dog for dinner and keep on going since they travel well.

Yeah, we got real lucky and were dreamed 2 days in a row! Too bad the crowds were so light we didn't need them. I still have 10 of these things hanging on my coat closet doorknob! Anyone want one?

You know..... for the last trip, I took the photos that everyone posted and put them all on one page with labels as to who was who, so it was easy to see. I could do that again for this thread if you want, or if no one has any objections...
