Today DH asked "so do you really want to go in April?"

I said, "OMG we're talking about other stuff like grocery shopping for the rest of the month, let's talk about this later." (we are still getting used to his salaried, one paycheck a month, life and it has been more stressful than we expected!)

Later he said "so if January goes well with me and DS alone for that night, and if you want to go in April, do you want me to take off one or two days, so you can stay longer?"





And just a short while ago he was saying "this Jan trip is b/c you need to get away now, but it's instead of April, OK?"




But we do have to send assuring hugs to DH, because in his early 20s he had a brief marriage to a woman who went down to visit family in L.A. and never came back after a "dear john" letter, so he's got a *bit* of PTSD about me going off alone to Anaheim. If any of you are married to your first loves you'll have to talk to me about what it's like not having any of that "baggage" in your background (about other people...of course we can always have "baggage" about the same person, LOL).

I'm back! Haven't been around since the early starts of this thread.

Looks like I'm pretty much going as long as a full time job doesn't throw a monkey wrench into the plans by not letting me have the time off.

Rooming with Dagny and Chris (califgirl) at the HoJo, hopefully. We have a call in to see if there are still rooms availabe at the group rate.

So, take pity on me and tell me who or what I need to do to catch up. What still has openings? I think the VIP tour is pretty much booked once Dagny PM'd tink33 a little bit ago...and that's ok. I need more park time since I've never been to DL before.

Hi Shelley.

Everyone pretty much has their hearts set on getting 2 group t-shirts for the trip. DangerMouse's hubby designed us a great shirt, and I think we're getting lanyards from him too.

Currently we're voting on a second t-shirt design. You can click on the link I left for 21yankees above, and then PM me with your vote of the t-shirt you like the best.

Also, there's info on the first page about doing a group photopass, as well as dining information. PM those people who are heading up the different activites if you're interested.

Should be an AWESOME trip! I sure hope you can come!

I'll PM the dining people once I reconfirm what my roomies are doing for meals. I'd really like to do the Blue Bayou for either dessert and save room for a bigger dinner or for the Monte Cristo and have a smaller/lighter meal for dinner later that day.
