Hi there mommaU4!! Well I just got a really good laugh out of this!! :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2:
When you visited the Untitled DL Hyena thread, I warned you about some inside jokes. Well this is definately one of them. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Anyways, I need to go to the voting site, and see what dates you have going on. I would really like to go too.
Okay good to know because I was getting a little worried there. LOL

Yes, vote away! We'd love to have you come along! I think it's going to be a great time!!

If she tells him that, He'll want to go along!!!!!!!! :rolleyes1

Bad plan!!! :lmao:
LOL Well, I was hoping she could use them before hand to encourage him to part with more money..... :rolleyes1

But your right, it could backfire! :rotfl:

Okay gals, for those of you on the fence about this, there is also another thing to consider. In addition to the freedom that comes with a ladies only trip, there are also tours offered by DL and DCA that either don't allow kids or aren't recommended for kids.

This would be a perfect opportunity to take one of those tours with a fun group of friends!

Here is some info on two such tours: (FYI this info was taken from this website so I'm hoping it's still fairly accurate)

*I've heard good things about the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour and when we did the ladies trip to WDW, a few of them took the Segway tour in Epcot and loved it.

LOL Tell him you have a plan to earn the money. Briefly mention the thong and the shoes...... :rolleyes1 See what he says to that. :rotfl2:

Who knows, if you mention the thong and the hot shoes, he might just pay for you to stay at the GCH. ;) :rotfl:

I see you've met my dh. ;) Yep, I know the only way to get him to agree to this is by dragging out the green thong and shoes. Where did I leave those anyway?
:lmao:

Okay, two things....

1. You don't need to be more mysterious. This just falls under the category of "it takes one to know one" sort of thing. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

2. Handy Manny was so not was I was hoping for!! :sad2: Maybe you need to get out more.....LOL I was hoping for something like this:
construction20worker.jpg

Now he'd be worth searching the parks for, don't ya think??

Thanks a lot. Now I'll never be able to watch Handy Manny without thinking of this yummy man. Hubba hubba. . . popcorn::

While we are working on getting the dates picked, another thought to sort of keep in the back of your mind is where to stay.

Those of you who've been there, know it's not like WDW at all. There are several very nice hotels that are just as close, if not closer to the parks as the Disney hotels are. So it's nice to have more options.

I'm sure we all love the Disney hotels and it would be fun to stay there, but keep in mind that may be cost prohibitive for some. Many have family trips planned as well, and since this would be an "extra" vacation for them, they might have to cut costs.

If we slumber party it and get 15 ladies in a room even a suite is a good price at GCH ;) :rotfl:

I have to say I would love to spend one night over since I have never done two days in a row at Disneyland like this before. If I do I would love to share a room and possibly get to finally stay at a Disney hotel, maybe hehe!

:rotfl2: I knew I had you pegged!
Guilty as charged. ;)

15 ladies in one room?? I call the bathtub.... :rolleyes1

I'd love to stay at one of the Disneyland hotels too, to be honest. I have a family of 6 so we'd never be able to afford it since we'd most likely need two rooms. Not gonna happen.

So I admit, I'm torn between getting a roomie and staying at one of the Disney hotels OR getting a roomie and staying at someplace nice but so much cheaper, and then using that money for other things. Ugh, decisions, decisions. :rotfl2:

I think I'm going to be there the whole time, from Thurs-Mon, so I have a feeling I'll end up at the less expensive hotels like the Candy Cane Inn maybe....

BUT we have time to figure it out. And again, we don't really HAVE to all stay at the same place, it's just more fun that way.
Maybe what we can do is have some at one Disney hotel and some at an off site place. That way everyone will have an option. :thumbsup2

Can you imagine 15 women in one suite??? Poor staff would not know what to do:rotfl2:

Maybe they will have an AP rate at that time. :cheer2: :cheer2:

I think the PP Hotel has room for 6. We're going there for the first time this December, and as far as I know, our room has two queens and a fold-out sleeper couch. I will report back, if no one does by then.

And yes... that would be cool if AP rates were good then, but I don't think so. I believe that last year it was around Feb and March for the really good prices. But.........maybe they will have the "if you stay 3 nights, the fourth night free deal"!!! :woohoo: That's better than nothing!

Imagine the staff walking in and finding 15 hair dryers..... :scared1: :lmao:

Same here! That would be SO MUCH FUN!
I think it's a good idea, and something we should definitely add to the plans. :thumbsup2

I'll bring the first aid kit just in case any one falls.... Oh, and the video camera. :rolleyes1 popcorn:: :rotfl2:

I always forget about the PP Hotel for some reason. :confused3
Yeah, let me know how it is. Thanks!
That's what we usually look for when we travel, a suite or room with two beds and a sofa sleeper. Or we'll get two connecting rooms if the price is right, but I know I won't be booking two rooms at DLH or GCH. :rotfl2:

Is it sad that I dont even know when this trip is or what hotel but I am still excited???
:rotfl2:

No way! Not sad at all!! After all those are minor details that can be worked out later. ;)

For now all we need to know is we're going to Disneyland!! :woohoo: :cool1: :yay: :dance3: :thumbsup2

PP has 2 queens and a futon type of sofa. rooms are good sized.
Really? Good to know, thanks. Like I said, I don't know much about that hotel and always seem to forget about it. I guess because I was always used to going to the Disneyland hotel.

We lived in Glendale CA. so we never needed to stay the night, but we'd go eat there, walk around the waterfalls area, and watch that old Fantasy Waters show they used to have there. :rotfl:

Then when they built the Grand Californian, I always think of that place because I'd love to stay there and plus you see it from the tram ride and DCA. But for some reason, I've never paid much attention to the PP Hotel.

I'll have to look into that for future family trips.....

Ok, so I have to pack my matching lime green thong and shoes, an my Areo bed.:lmao:
I havent told Dh about this idea yet. Do you think he and rest of the family will notice if Im MIA for a few days??:confused3 :rotfl2:
Can you imagine doing a Chracter meal?:lmao: I think the tour idea is great!!
