Me: Hey, there is going to be a ladies only trip to DL may I go?
Dh: Can I come too?
Me: Ladies only, sorry.
Dh: Well, can I come if I dont pretend to know you?
Me: No spying on me so you can't come!
Dh: Sounds like trouble
Me: Probably!
Dh: Only women?
Me: Of course
Dh: I better alert security! Yes, you can go! Bring me home something PIRATES!

OKay ladies, I've got a poll for the dates up now. I put it on the DIS Meets board since technically that's what this is.....a meet.
That's a slower moving board too and I didn't want the poll to get lost anywhere else.

Matching green thongs?? OMG, now that's a scary thought, at least in my case.

But if your going to go with the green thong, you'll need some hot lime green shoes, and shoes are my speciality...... Let's see, what about these:

Don't worry, we won't go over Mother's Day. I don't think that would work for anyone. I know I need to be home for the kid's burnt breakfast in bed and the homemade cards.

Me: So the girls on the Dis are planning a ladies only weekend at DLR.

Dh: Sounds dangerous.

Me: Dangerous?

Dh: Yeah, a bunch of Disney crazed women, doing who knows what with Mickey Mouse? Scary.

Me: So you wouldn't mind if I went for a few days?

Dh: A few DAYS???

Me: Ok, two days?

Dh: Uh, sure. Good luck earning the money for it.

Me: Hmmph.

Looks like I'll be forced into using my Disney Visa even more.

While we are working on getting the dates picked, another thought to sort of keep in the back of your mind is where to stay.

Those of you who've been there, know it's not like WDW at all. There are several very nice hotels that are just as close, if not closer to the parks as the Disney hotels are. So it's nice to have more options.

I'm sure we all love the Disney hotels and it would be fun to stay there, but keep in mind that may be cost prohibitive for some. Many have family trips planned as well, and since this would be an "extra" vacation for them, they might have to cut costs.

I know the last time we were there, we barely saw our hotel room. So if you got a room off site, AND maybe even got a roomie, think of the money you'd save. That's more money for Dole Whips, Mickey Bars, drinks and shopping.

Also there is no rule that says we all HAVE to stay at the same place, but speaking from experience, it's so much more fun if you do.
When we were at WDW we had some staying at POP and some at Coronado Springs and it just wasn't as fun. It didn't feel like we were all part of the same group, kwim?

So again, it's just something to think about. We can move onto hotels once the dates are finalized.

Oh, and by the way, the poll for the dates will close on 11/9/07, so we'll know for sure by then, if not sooner.

Okay, two things....

1. You don't need to be more mysterious. This just falls under the category of "it takes one to know one" sort of thing.

2. Handy Manny was so not was I was hoping for!! Maybe you need to get out more.....LOL I was hoping for something like this:
