Girls Trip #1 (check in daily for any plans being finalized or changes/updates)

We went Monday, and my legs are killing me! Took a day off today (Tuesday) and my husband has been sick all day so it worked out. He was puking last night and just stayed in bed all day. We're planning on going to Knott's tomorrow and then back to DL on Friday, but it depends on how he feels. My son was sick, puking, during the drive out here on Sunday. Good thing we had some ziplocs with us!!

It was pretty busy Monday, and it probably will be on Friday, seems like lots of people have spring break this week, actually all this month. Even Ridemax isn't doing well for us!! And I'm always such a planner, this is screwing up my plans terribly!!!



Not a chance, I know the park like the back of my hand... uh oh, where is my hand?? Oh, it's in the popcorn, or whatever food I can find!!

Oh no, I'm sorry your DS and DH were sick! That sucks. I hope your DH feels better fast so you can still go and do some things.

I've been in that boat before. With 6 people in our family, we've had many a trip disrupted by someone getting sick. I actually keep Ziploc bags in the glove compartment now. LOL

Sorry it's crowded. I wonder if it got worse since we were there last week.
I'm too spoiled now when it comes to DL. I've been so many times where I've had little to no wait, that now it's hard to wait for the same rides for 30 minutes or more, kwim?

When we were at DCA on Thursday, the Monsters Inc ride for example, was a 45 minute wait!! Ummm, no thanks. I've been on it and last time the wait was less then 10 minutes.

Anyway, I hope everyone gets well, and that you don't get it!! And the crowds aren't too bad for ya.

Never fear! I (the adventurous, fearless, and directionally challenged) will be there as the personal tour guide to Ruth and Shelley (And Dagny and Lauren if they don't run in the other direction fast enough.) After all, I've been lost in Africa, how hard will it be to be lost in Disneyland? (ok, sorry inside joke) But really girls, I know where everything is in DLR and I won't let you get lost.

And thanks for the big and beautiful birthday greeting this morning, Ruth and Beth! What a treat to see that. Guess where I'm headed shortly...yup! Disneyland here I come! Everyone should be able to go to Disneyland on their birthday!

Ruth - LOL Pork and beans. ROFL! I can just imagine you eating those for breakfast, NOT! If you'd thought about it, you'd have secretly planned that for the trip home. That way poor stacielee wouldn't have any chance of some last minute gas escaping in the room. You'll never be as evil as me. Muahahaha (I really need to put up my penguin with the halo and horns over here!)

Well I hate to tell you this but wieners and beans is one of my favorite meals at least for dinner. As long as it is not 6:00 am I could see myself eating them @8:00 am. Might even take a thermos with me And eat them while I am waiting for our flight

They are picking us up at 7:30 our flight is for 10:30 pm we need to be at airport at 2 hours before our 10:30 pm flight. I am nervous this is cutting it very close. Would I be better with a 6:30 pick up. Not knowing the lay out or traffic at this time. So advice is kindly appreciated.

Anyone have any feed back on XTC limousine. I am not sure about this company as the communication ahs not been good. Thanks

Hope everyone's having a great day . . . . as for me . . .

I woke up groggy and tired for some reason (maybe because I was awake from 2:30-4:15 a.m.?)

my computer email crashed and it took two hours and an emergency call to my computer guy to get it fixed (thankfully seems to be working now)--always happens when you are going on "vacation"

I've been reading on another board that crowds at Disneyland the last two days are off the charts busy and we are going Sun. so I am bummed and hoping that some of the Spring Break crowd goes home (thought they would be clearing out on Sunday--but now not so sure)

on a positive note, I called the hotel and they told me that our room is not in Outer Mongolia like it was the last time . . . (it was a looooooonnnnnnggggg walk the last time!)

so, trying to stay on a cheerful note even though I have a ton of work to do and would rather be surfing on here
