That is so me! I used to love to make things but now whenever I sign up to make something with the ladies at church, even though they make it so easy by preparing everything and showing us how to do it, I get started and then think "what have I gotten myself into? Can I just give you money for the one you already made, because mine never comes out anything like it!"
This is what I have been seeing for the past week, and we are leaving for DL in 5 days! Figures that I finally get out of the Pacific Northwest for a few days, and it is supposed to rain every day we are there! I keep trying to be positive about it, like it should keep the crowds down, but I would rather have warm sunny weather and deal with the crowds. At least I will get away for a few days from the below-freezing temps we are suppose to be having.
So I will take a turn introducing myself. I am Carol and I will be celebrating my 54th birthday on the Diva trip. I was born and mostly grew up in Arizona. I have been married to Mike (2nd time for both of us) for 21 years. We have three kids; Rob 29, Lisa 27 (married to Tim with a 6-month old

), and Bryan 17. I am an accountant and currently working at a private golf club 10 minutes from my house. A few years back I took some time off during which I went to travel school but nothing really came of that; I am hoping someday to use it somehow in my work or on the side. Mike is a psychologist - he would tell you that your foil hat is generally worn as a cap under your regular hat.

Bryan started community college at 15 and will be transferring to University of Oregon as a junior when he is 18. He is one of those expensive kids that does so well with what you give him, you want to give him more.

This will be my first Diva trip and I am looking forward to meeting everyone!
