Take me off the Cafe Orleans list then please. I don't want to be one that cancels and causes a problem. If I get burned by not getting a table at Club 33 then I'll just eat a hot dog by myself somewhere.

This also leads me to think that I shouldn't even do Club 33, because those folks going with me would cancel Cafe Orleans also. Honestly, Napa Rose's food is 10 times better for the same price.

Thanks for calling Beth. If you end up needing someone to call for CO I can probably do one. I didn't want to sign up before to do it cuz I wasn't positive I was going to be going and I didn't want a ressie in my name and then not show up. But now that I am for sure going I can do one.

Yeah for mom's cake it isn't THAT big of a deal, unlike the girls, but they are charging 52 bucks for a 10 inch round cake and for that you would think you could get something a little more special than just flowers but whatever. I just want to make it nice for her since it is a big birthday. And like I said we are going to have TONS leftover so seriously after you guys meal at Jazz Kitchen if anyone wants to meet for cake we are going to have quite a bit I am sure. I hate to waste it!

As for Carnation Cafe, come eat with me!
I'm all set to make PS for Steakhouse 55 on New Year's Eve. I've only been there once but it was really nice and the food was good, too! I think a lot of people miss out because they think it's only open for lunch and dinner. We went in March and it was very quiet.

I better head out to church, my mom doesn't want Anais to be late for Sunday school. See you later!

Heather, I wouldn't worry about it. I think in the past they've been burned by large groups not showing up. If we are talking 3 or 4 canceling, I can probably work something out. So go ahead and do what you want with regards to Club 33.

I've thought it over, and if they manager calls me back and says he cannot do a large group, or he can but needs a large deposit, maybe we should skip it. We have a group dinner that night at Jazz Kitchen. For lunch we can either meet at French Market or some other counter service. I guess we'll see. You'd think they'd have some plan set up for larger groups. I'm sure they get several of them. I think WDW is better at dealing with large groups than DL is.

Sounds good Beth. I didn't know if my little group would cause problems for you especially if we have to do a deposit. I'm with you on just doing CS if they require that. No one should have to put up their own money for this.

Today is Mom's last day here. We are getting ready to leave for lunch. Mom has been hemming pants for me. I'm getting spoiled. I'm going to miss her tomorrow after she leaves.

I thought about that, but then we will end up all staggered again like at CC. I think we can keep that as an option, but I'd really like to give the manager a chance to get back to me and see if we can't all be seated together. I may even beg!!!
But let's give him or her a day or two and see if we hear back. They were good about it last time, and if I let them know they'd have 43 unhappy guests on their hands, they might work with us.

I don't know if it would help or not but maybe when you speak to the managers you could give them the link to this thread so they can see that we are serious about going and being in a group that large. And maybe it would help them make a decision.

Nooooooo! Please don't cancel Club 33! I really want a chance to maybe go there, for me the food quality at Disney doesn't matter as much as the experience. Beth, you could make the ressie for a few less to allow for those eating at Club 33. And Heather, there is no way you would be eating a hot dog by yourself on this trip. There are going to be so many of us there that you won't even be able to hide to do that if you wanted to.

If Cafe Orleans doesn't work out, maybe we could try that picnic idea that was floating around a few weeks ago, although that does sound like a lot of work for a few people.

Beth, you can put me and Jamie down for any time for Carnation, but it might be nice for Jamie to have a chance to get to know another younger single lady so maybe with Courtney or Cristabel would be nice.

The boys are still asleep. DH is cooking breakfast, and Mom is in the shower. It's a nice quiet morning so far.

Yup, I made it, about 36 hours late!! At least we didn't have to spend that time at the airport and were able to go home.

Okay, I think I'll one-up all of you on the number of people at Christmas dinner; DH is number 13 of 17 kids. Of course, not all were here, but I think we had about 45 people for dinner on Christmas. And it's pretty much a mad house for about a week. Some left today, some are leaving tomorrow, and we're leaving on Tuesday. It was 3 degrees Christmas Eve, and there's about a foot of snow here. I can take the cold and snow, but only for about a week. Good thing it's almost over!!

Cheryl, hope you're feeling better. And anyone else who was sick... I don't think I read all of the 15 pages I was behind!! And we're going to miss you ladies who aren't going to be able to come

Not sure if I'll get back on here before we leave on Tuesday so I hope everyone has a great few days before New Years!!

I think I already said this on FB but to Laurie and Janelle I am so sorry you guys won't be making it. I was in the same boat but was VERY lucky that my aunt is offering to help and my mom! I only wish something like that would happen for you all! ((hugs)) and you guys better still post! We still like hearing from you!!! I REALLY hope it is in the cards for next year for you guys and Janelle I know things have been really rough for you lately but WHENEVER you are able I am up for our lunch!!

We have had a REALLY lazy day. Just laying around watching the movies the kids got for Christmas and stuff on tv. It's been really nice!
