Congratulations, Stacie! :cool1:

Ooooh, now you can take me on my first trip to WDW!! I'd trust you to do all the planning and I'll just follow you around while you teach me the ropes. Sound good??? ;)

Beth, thanks for the rundown on the t-shirt situation. It all sounds good to me. Personally, I thought 3 t's for one trip was too much. But I'm good with whatever is decided for the group.

Hmmmmm. Maybe we need to plan a Diva trip to WDW.

I'm good with two t-shirts too--three is too much for this girl to try to plan.

Ok Diva's, give me the low down on who's doing the Mouse Adventure this weekend. I know about the RTB breakfast Sunday am (Thanks Michelle) but wondering who's going to be around to say HI to?

Sure, Callie, sssuuurrreee.... Just like you want to do all the planning for other people! I don't plan as much when we go to WDW, at least I try not to. But that's always subject to change!

Oh yes, we definitely need to plan a Diva trip to WDW... Since Beth is so good at planning.... well, you know ;)

Heather and I are doing MA, along with my 2 DDs. We're going to try and hit the fireworks Friday night after we arrive. We're playing it by ear on Sunday, but we need to leave no later than about 2pm (maybe 1pm, since we lose an hour driving back), since Heather needs to drive back to Tucson once we get back to Phoenix. Not sure if we're going to try and go to the outlet store or not...

I was BORN to plan WDW vacations. There is nothing that thrills me more. I hope we get to go in the next few years. I can't wait to see that looks on my boys' faces there. :goodvibes

I'm looking forward to trying HMH and Small World during the holidays this weekend. I'm a newbie to both!

I've been craving pancakes for days, so I can't wait for RBT!

Thanks for the rundown on the shirts Beth! I am glad we are down to just 2 shirts. As I have zero crafty genes in my body. It will be a challenge just getting at least one of these done. I don't do bling, well unless it is on my finger :lmao:

I totally understand that Mel already has too much to do.

Also, for those interested, we got a DVC, Saratoga Springs! Now I need to add that to my siggie!!
What a great Christmas present!

Okay ladies, since some questions were being asked about the t-shirt status I thought I'd post what I know as of now.
I'm happy with whatever the group decides.

I got my Christmas card from Kelly today, Thanks!

I'm a little upset this morning because I've been watching flights on Allegiant and never actually got around to booking them. Today I looked and the way there went from $68-$98 which is ok but return went from $68-$178:sad2:
I have to fly out of Bellingham so if anyone sees a good deal please let me know. I'm off to see what Alaska Air will cost. I'd have to switch planes but it should be worth saving some money. How much time will I need to switch planes, I've always flown direct. Do need to go get my luggage?
Thanks!

Ok ladies, anyone who will be there this weekend so will I. If anyone wants my phone number PM me and I'll give it to you. :) We will be there Friday night but with the drive, the weather and the GV I'm not sure if we will make it to the parks Friday night, we do that normally but who knows how long it will actually take to get there. So.....I've got a mini meet planned for Saturday at noon in front of the castle (or under the castle if it's wet and rainy lol) and I'm going to see if we can do breakfast at the RBT Sunday, it's hard to say but I'm going to try. I'll at least see about saying HI to you ladies. :) Hopefully our weather clears up mostly, and hopefully it warms up some down there!! sheesh it's cold today...it was 29 when I left for work this morning....at almost 8 am!

I'm thinking the girls and I may try to be at Riverbelle Terrace at 9am so we can head over to CA at about 9:30 to do TSMM when it opens, and Screamin' and ToT. Then head back to DL to wrap up our weekend.

Also, for those interested, we got a DVC, Saratoga Springs! Now I need to add that to my siggie!!

Woo Hoo! Welcome Home (as they say when you check into DVC). You are SO SMART to buy resale. I bought AKV when Breezy was a CM so got a good discount then, but paid full price for GCV thinking it would sell out in a matter of days.:sad2: 9 am at RT is good for us - we will be utilizing early entry so we can meet up anytime. Can you make it at 9 am, Carol?

We aren't going for MA but just "going" for the weekend. We will be at PP Sat and Sun night. I don't think we will be in the park much Sat (aren't arriving until noonish) but hopefully we can say HI!:goodvibes

Beth, whatever you decide with the shirts is fine by me. I do know Bree & I want to make a zip up hoodie of the black/pink pirate design, but can make a tee as well and have a matched set! And you are right about the evening shows - let's wait until the schedule comes out and go from there.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

 I'm not sure I understand. . . I  planning DLR trips for other people (unless they're asking me to plan a low-budget crowd-free last-minute trip during Spring Break). That's why I started a business doing just that. However, WDW is too overwhelming for me to plan, even using guidebooks. I've decided what I really need is to have someone show me in person how to do it.

Looks like Heather's my gal! Wanna take me along and show me how to WDW right? :worship:

Oh no, been there, done that. I'll pass on planning a ladies trip for WDW. lol

I like it there, but it's too much of a "real" vacation for me to get away with going solo. kwim?
The kids are fine with me leaving to DL for a few days by myself, but going to Florida and WDW, they'd be a bit sad to miss that and I'd miss them and feel guilty. So, that one someone else will have to step up and plan. ;)

Besides, weren't y'all supposed to be saving your pennies for Disneyland Paris? :rolleyes1 :p

Oooh, a matched set sounds nice. pirate: pirate:

Just looking at the schedule real quick, it appears Sunday would be the least busy and most likely day to plan a hot cocoa and parade or firework viewing, so we'll keep it in mind for that day. :thumbsup2

only if I go too!!!!

Morning girls

Today is my last day of studying before finals. I can't wait for this quarter to be over.

Have a great!

You're in a quarter system? That goes by SO fast. My cousin goes to UC Irvine and she tells me how fast her classes go by so I don't know how you do it! :thumbsup2

Hmmmmm. Maybe we need to plan a Diva trip to WDW.

I want to go back to WDW SOOOOO bad.

I had SO much fun planning our WDW trip in '06. I guess because there is so much to plan you get that excitement for a bit longer than if you were planning a DL trip. It kept me busy while I had wait.

Run to the castle to say HI! :) Otherwise I'll have my LGMH somewhere on my person. :)

Yep we are in a quarter system.

Have you ever read a thread and wish you had skipped it? People are so rude & mocking a poor older lady. ugh...

My brain hurts........

I need some suggestions for some good books to take with me on vacation. I've read all the Twilight books already. I don't like romance books. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

Uh oh, where there's thread at?

What about some of the book titles that AmySue sent to Mary Jo in her stocking. She posted them on that thread. They sound more like thrillers, not romance.

Uhoh, what thread?

I'm ready to go home. I'm so tired.

Thats coolio about the tshirts, whatever makes Miss Melody's life easier!!

WDW doesn't have to be overwhelming. DH and I did all 4 parks in 2 days, remember? It's just a matter of deciding what you want to go on, how early you can go, how late you want to stay, which night-time shows you want to see, where you want to eat (and when)... Okay, I guess there is a lot to it! :lmao: But I know you can do it, especially being so familiar with DLR. Although it is very weird to walk into the Magic Kingdom and think everything is not in the right place... :confused3

only if I go too!!!!

Okay, so we've got the start to a Girls trip to WDW... when, 2011??

Yeah right Beth, like we really think we can go to DLP. That would be awesome, but definitely not something I could do without the family!!
