Howdy, all! Fly-by hi from me. I leave for Salt Lake City on Tuesday morning and I still have WAY too much left on my to-do list! EEK!

Our last morning in the villa - sipping coffee watching the rides in Paradise Pier come on line.

After lounging at the pool in our cabana yesterday, we ate at the Chef's Counter at Napa Rose last night - it was an incredible foody experience!! Then went in to ride RSR at night!! Just wow - Carsland is soooo gorgeous at night!! You feel like you have stepped back in time to Route 66!! I rode RSR once before in the day but it is so much better at night. And got to stop in and see Jess at work! Jess - you look sooo happy!

Going to only do easy things today - Aladdin, Tiki Room, and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln before we leave this afternoon for more college tours!!

That all sounds wonderful and I hope to stay with my family there one day.

Yesterday I had a hellacious experience with the cub scouts. There was a group cache activity in our hundred acre wooded area over ravines on unmarked trails. I had to leave my son with the pack because my ankle could not keep up. I had erroneously assumed that since this was a first time activity for 6-10 year Olds that some common sense would be used. Thank god for the otherMom in my den who took my son out a different partvof ravine and called for a ride for them after my son fell down and lost his shoe in a swamp. And thank god for my friend who lives near this area and was home when I stumbled out of the trail. Honestly don't knowing I would have found my way out to my car. She gave me a ride to my car wherein was reunited with my son who was madder than heck at our pack leader. Took me all night to recover!

I'm all packed and ready to go (except for the glasses which I'm wearing currently and my Kindle and a couple other last minute items that go in the carry-on). I've got my boarding passes printed. Just re-confirmed my ride to the airport. Is it Tuesday yet? LOL

And while I was on the Southwest website, I looked at the price on my airfare for the Diva mini meet in October and the fare went down! So I re-booked and now have a $53 credit which I can use toward our trip in February! Woo hoo! That was over a 25% savings! I'm stoked!

Hello, ladies!!

Monday again. The weekend went by so fast. Got a lot of back to school shopping done since we'll be in Michigan next month and won't be able to do it then.

Speaking of which, only 17 days left! I am excited and nervous at the same time. The journey will be quite an undertaking!
Also, any well wishes you can spare for me would be nice. I have three doctor appointments before we leave and if I get bad news at any of them, we might have to cancel which I really don't want to do. My grandparents are getting up there in age and I really want to go visit them.
Anyway, I'd appreciate any good thoughts or prayers.

I love CL at night!!! It's easily my favorite place to be after dark! Sooooooooo CUTE!!!!! I saw Jessica too, she was thrilled to be working where she was and it was soooooooooooooo great to finally meet her!!

We did Knott's Scary Farm a few years ago. It was a blast but so crowded!

Go about two weeks before Halloween. The closer it gets the busier it is. And, go on a Thursday if at all possible.

When Ruben and I used to go, it was soooo crowded!! But, being in school still we'd have to go on a Friday or Saturday night. I remember waiting up to 2 hours for the log ride!
Last year, when I went with Theresa, Katie, Capri, Mary Jo, Jane, etc. we went on a Thursday and everything, mazes and rides, were walk up and on. I think the longest we waited was maybe 15 minutes, if that. It was awesome! So, I'll be taking the kids out of school and we are going on a Thursday night. Then, Friday I'll be at Disneyland with some of the Divas.

I hear ya. My kids love Halloween though and Disney Halloween just isn't gonna cut it. lol

We did the party once as a family when it was in DCA. Had a great time. But, the twins were much younger then.
Last year, I did the party in Disneyland for the first time to check it out and see if I wanted to spring for tickets for all of us for this year. I had fun because I was with a big group, but the party itself was lacking for me.

Lots of walking from station to station just for candy that I can easily buy myself. Long lines. Lots of people. I don't know. Just didn't thrill me. So, we won't be doing it again. The company I was with made it memorable for me, but the party itself was just so-so.

I really enjoyed the Cultivating The Magic tour yesterday. Loved spending time the Cheryl, Linda, Bree, Chris and Jill ! Racers was down on and off all day but I finally rode it in the afternoon. So much fun!

It was a great weekend at DLR. Friday was crazy hot and humid but Sat and Sun were so beautiful. So glad you finally got on RSR Trudi. I know you went over there to use your FP three times! Wasn't the Billy show a hoot? Loved it.

We thought the tour was lacking a bit in real gardening and horticulture tips. And we were hoping for a behind-the-scenes peek at something. Our host was good and it was nice to visit with everyone.

Beth, I am sending good vibes and pixie dust your way. Don't stress too much, the stress can be worse than the news itself. Big Hug!

I just looked at the Email and it says prizes will be received 8-10 weeks after the promotion ends, which was May 22. 10 weeks would be July 30th.

I'm going to send an email any way.
