Home for 2 days before leaving again. More college tours and then the Grand Villa (3 bedrooms) at the Grand Californian!! Woo Hoo! Can't wait but am not looking forward to the heat wave predicted

Beth - Happy birthday to your twin girls!

Helloooooo??

LOL Kinda quiet in here lately. :)

Summertime and the livin' is fine....and busy apparently. Hope everyone is doing well.
Today is Lindsey and Hannah's birthday so we've had a busy birthday weekend, and tonight it's tacos, brownies (they aren't cake fans) and presents. Guess I should go get those wrapped.... No, I don't procrastinate...why do you ask? ;)

Later!!
Happy Birthday to your girls!!!!

Take lots of photos! That room is going to be amazing :)

Beth~ Happy Birthday to your girls :)

Howdy everyone! I've been a crafting maniac here. Was on ooVoo for close to 7 hours with some of my crafting friends yesterday, working on our projects. Slept like crap last night - woke up twice with leg cramps. Ugh. Ran errands and finished 2 projects today. I just have one left and then gifts for my roommates to do. And 1 week to do it! Eek! I've started putting things on the big duffle bag to pack. Going to go to bed EARLY tonight and try and catch up on some of the sleep I lost last night.

3 weeks from tomorrow I'll be back at Disneyland! Yay! I have a friend from Idaho who is bringing her (totally adorable) toddler daughter for her first Disney trip and I'm going to meet up with them for a day and then take a second day to take in all the new goodness at DCA. I have my AP early entry day to DL on Aug 1. Unfortunately, my flight doesn't get in early enough on the 31st to do an early entry at DCA. Oh well. I hope Jessica will be working one of those days. I'd love to see her in her cute costume!

Thanks for the birthday wishes for the twins!! :goodvibes

Andrea, I hope your friends have fun at DL and it's not too busy for them. Don't want to scare them away from going back! Try to stay cool. I remember when we lived in MI we didn't have A/C because we rarely needed it. But, when it did get hot, whew, it was miserable. Right now in Vegas it's around 109, and tomorrow it should reach 112. Thank goodness for the A/C!!

Bridget, have fun at the Grand!! Can't wait to see the photos.

Everyone else have a good night.

MY AP early entry is tomorrow. :goodvibes
I'm hoping that RSR is up and running at the time, if not I'll ride Mater's Junk yard Jamboree, luigi's tires, and TSMM before heading to the single rider line for RSR.

I waited in line for about 30 minutes for a FP last time, but I'd rather do single rider so I don't have to waste time in that crazy line.

Yeah, I'll be doing Single Rider on RSR as well. From what I hear, the line for a FP is about the same wait and then you still have to wait some when you use the FP.

Happy Birthday to Jen, Sarah and Katie today!

One week from right now, I'll be close to landing in Vegas for my stop-over on my way to SLC! Woo hoo! Guess it's time to start thinking about packing, huh? LOL

Hello everyone!!

Cristabel, hope you are having fun at DCA today!
Lisa, too bad you don't have a longer layover here in Vegas. We could do lunch! :thumbsup2

Just stopping by to wish a very Happy Birthday to Jen, Katie and Sarah! Lots of birthdays in the month of July. :cool1:

Happy Birthday to Katie, Sarah and Jen! Hope you all have a great day!

There really are a lot of birthdays this month! Wow.

I just saw that the Tinker bell Half Marathon is 97% full! If you are thinking about running it you should sign up now! It's so much fun and you would have 6 months to train for it.

It's up to 99% now!!!

Happy Birthday Trudi, Katie, Jen and Sarah! Hope all of you had a very special day!
Hugs around. :grouphug:

Sorry, I have not been around much either. We are in the middle of remodeling, and that along with family happenings is keeping me on my toes.

Beth, I have done the train across the states a couple of times. The first time departed from Sacramento up to Chicago to New York. The second time started out in Seattle, all along the northern states to Chicago, on to Boston. Both trips beautiful. Loved the observation car. Have also done the train to San Fran, San Diego many times. As you can tell, I actually like taking the train. :thumbsup2 Be sure to bring cards, yatzee, books, or any other project. We did do the sleeper cars, but i was able to share the cost with my sisters and mom. Anywhos, i would bring pillows and small blankets. Wear light weight clothes that are comfortable and stretchy that can go from day to night, good for sleeping in. Take some Tylenol PMs to help you sleep. Or something stronger if you have it. LOL! Oh and bring along the most food that you can handle. bread, peanut butter and jam, fruit, snacks, water, and so forth. If you are a tea drinker, bring your own, to add to their hot water. Hand sanitizer and wipes would be good to have.
It would be nice to have all of your personal items in small separate bags, along with hand towels for each family member. Baggies might be nice to have also.
Some day, I would like to take the southern most route to New Orleans and WDW. I think it's called the Texas Eagle. I would like to do it in memory of my Mom and sister. We had such fun on our trips on the train. :grouphug:

AnywYs, hope this helps a bit.

Happy Birthday to Hannah and Lindsey too! :bday: :cake:

Yes - a big :bday:

to Katie, Sarah & Jen!

Off to the Grand this morning - temperatures predicted to be 90!! :scared1:
I don't do heat very well - yuck!

Hi! taking my baby girl...well, ok, she is 36 now...to WDW in November. Our first mother/daughter trip. Looking forward to it! I still haven't lost the baby weight, tho! hee, hee.

I've always wanted to take a cross country train trip to WDW. That's the only way I'll ever get there since I don't fly. If I ever retire I'll do it. Hopefully I won't be too old to enjoy it.
