Thanks for the birthday wishes! I've already got my sangria in the fridge, chilling for later today. We'll see if it makes it to 4PM before I feel the need to "sample the recipe". LOL Unfortunately, tonight will be all about getting DH packed for his trip tomorrow, but once I get back from dropping him off (at 7AM, ICK!) tomorrow morning, I don't have anything on my calendar until my dentist appointment Thursday! Woo hoo! Craft city, baby! I still have little things like running to the post office and grocery store, but nothing with a time attached to it.

Happy Birthday Lisa!!!

Man, I was busy last night!! I got our tank tops all done tho, they are super cute except you can see the transfer paper because it's not the same color as the actual tank tops. But I'm considering finding a screen printer around here who will print up sweatshirts to give the girls for Christmas. So we both have a PotC tank, dark grey, we will wear teal blue underneath, we have blinged skulls on the back between our shoulders, the front says "Dead Men Tell No Tales" on the left top (yes by the chestal area LOL) and around the bottom they say "Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirate's Life For Me" I found an awesome PotC font and used that for the wording, they are super cute!! The HM ones are unique to each of us but have similarities. Cassidy's has a picture of Constance with an axe with her 5 headless husbands around her, that's on the back, also on the back hers says "In Sickness and in Wealth", "Until Death do us Part" and on the side it says "Hurry Back", on the front of hers she has a "99 Happy Haunts" logo she drew and it says "I Do, I Did" on the bottom. Mine has Madam Leota on the back with the "99 Happy Haunts" logo, "Hurry Back" and around the bottom from front to back it says "Serpents and spiders, tail of a rat; call in the spirits, wherever they're at". They are super cute, except the visible transfer paper. But oh well, she's super excited to wear something that she designed.
I'm supposed to go out with a friend tonight but I think I'm going to have to cancel, I just have too much to get done before we leave tomorrow. I do not want to be driving tired.......but I'm excited!! The beans have been spilled so I'll spill them here too, Sunday we are going a surprise lunch at Club 33 for Cassidy's birthday!! I am so excited, I simply can't wait!! So, I'll probably not be around from here until I get back, and then I won't be able to catch up for a while but I'll be posting on my FB!

I have rested a lot and things are looking better The boys and I took the dog for a walk tonight and discovered that a house two blocks away had caught on fire. There were fire and police workers all over the place. Scary!

I found an awesome person who offered me a chance at a reservation, it was totally unexpected and random but so appreciated! Yes, it was a Diser but I don't want to say who.

That was our house about 7 years ago, it's a traumatic experience but we got through it.
I'll share photos, mostly on FB but I'll see about getting some posted here too. I leave in about 11 hours!! YAY!!!!

OH and I am going back in August! Micah's sister and family are coming to visit and they want to go to DL so they asked if we wanted to go too, his Mom is going to cover our hotel for us so they are booking it, I think they are booking at the Red Lion, not really walkable so they are planning to use ART and we will probably drive. Oh....I need to figure out the distance from the RL to the Toy Story lot, we may be able to walk there and catch a shuttle! hmmmmmm

We are finally having a quiet weekend. This past week has been a busy one. We went to Calgary last weekend to visit some friends, and then celebrated Canada Day by seeing the Calgary fireworks. They were awesome!

We got back to Red Deer on Tuesday, only to drive 6 hours to Saskatchewan to go to DH's Grandpas funeral.

Then today his Dad took Seth out for the day to go on a train ride, and so we've hardly seen him the past few days. He got back just in time to go to bed. Tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful though, so I think we are going to spend some good quality time outdoors enjoying the sun.

Okay ladies, we did this last year per Melody's request, and I think it ended up being a nice reference to have. I'm talking about the Attendee List!

The list I have on the front page now, is the one we had from before, so I am going to delete that and start a new one. It was nice to see who exactly was going, and which days. Especially now with some coming on Wednesday and some not, I think that a new list will come in handy.

Beth your train vacation sounds like fun. The few times I have been on a train have been short ones.. San Diego as an 8th grade field trip chaperone and to Carpenteria for the avocado festival. I love road trips so we may have to try a train trip

I love road trips, too, which is why I am eager to try this. I think it's the fun of a road trip, but your not seatbelted in the whole time. We'll see.

Hello everyone , I hope all has been well. I have been SWAMPED with work and other life events and feel like a stranger to the boards now , LOL. I wish I had more time to recap but here has been my last few weeks.

Manager leaves hotel - extra work load builds up on everyone else
Said manager forwards my resume to his new work - I go for 1st interview
I go back this past Friday for 2nd interview - I now await call for 3rd interview
Animal shelter I applied to 3 months ago emails me for interview on Wed. July 11th
I walk into a crap fest at work yesterday when our new hire of less than a month No call No shows for the SECOND time. My Front office manager almost walks off the job after the sales team promises everyone everything and we just dont have it.

Add in constant 6 day work weeks , a positive year review but measly pay raise for what I do ( basically .32 cents is considered the HIGHEST) stupid percentage based system , and our hotel was just bought by another owner , I don't even know if I am coming or going these days.

I will say that my manager was kind enough to give me three days off ( paid holiday plus an actual 2 days off) and I thoroughly enjoyed those days including July 4th off.

Happy birthday/congrats to anything special I missed , this cycle of crazy has to end soon.

My sister is out from IL. so my Mom will be vey happy to have all 4 of us kids together with her. It's been 2 years since we were all together. We've been trying to enjoy the weather outdoors this weekend, as it's been so hot! We don't have air conditioning in the house, so when we are home, we are in the basement! Lol. Much cooler down here.

Right now I have friends who are in DL for their first time, and I am jealous and dying to know how they are liking it! I warned them that it would be busy, so I hope they aren't too overwhelmed by the crowds. I so wish I could be there too.
