Good morning, ladies!


Rose and Heather, I was going to add your photos, but because those are both "official" photos, part of the DIS as opposed to something posted from photobucket or some other photo site, I can't save them to my computer to edit and repost on the front page.
Do you have any personal photos that you can post from a site like photobucket?

What's the facebook link/official name?

Nothing official. Just a some of the ladies are friends on Facebook. We do have a group page, which is different than a fan page or organization page,
but that is set to secret and you need to be Facebook friends with someone in that group to be added to that. (Facebook can be so complicated at times!! LOL)
Bottom line, all of the planning is done on here. Nothing will be posted on Facebook that isn't posted on here as well. Everything, all info, will always be updated on the front page of this thread so as long as you keep checking there, you or anyone else won't miss a thing.


I actually looked into making a Facebook page, but with an organization you cannot make the page private. I'm not sure I want to make a public one. I realize our info is public on here, but mainly Disney fans are reading this, kwim?

I will spare you all the details, but I am livid at my son's baseball coach. He sends the rudest emails! We are pulling our son from the last two games and filling yet ANOTHER complaint with the board. The silver lining is that I have been assurred he will never coach in our league again.

Hey everyone...yes I am still alive.

Life as usual has been super crazy.
Cheryl is coming for a visit next week. I am excited!
Teens are going to be invading our pool today. Girls to layout. And later on the guys will join in for a BBQ.
Been on grandparent duty. Even took our grand daughter into emergency, while son and DIL away for anniversary. Long story there, but everything OK thank goodness!

Still sewing up a storm. Working on big blankies for Kaitlyn's 2 best friends for their graduation gifts. Fun contemporay fabric in their college colors, backed with super soft minky, and edged with satin binding. Like a huge baby blanket! LOL! I made one for Kaitlyn years ago, and she still loves it.

I renewed my pass on Friday saving me the price jump. Went with the monthly payments so it doesn't seem too bad. It's the next renewal that scares me.

My AP expires in January and I decided not to renew. We will be taking a break from Disneyland for about 1 1/2 years. I'm sure Laila will have major withdrawals, but there is plenty for my family to do in Southern California. It's not the fact that I can't afford it, but I think it's getting out of hand and it's time to take a break for awhile. I'll actually be saving a ton of money by not going to Disneyland every couple weeks too. I tend to overspend when I do go to the parks .

Still teens hanging around, but the numbers are dwindling since football season has started up again.

They usually have So. California ticket specials around that time and I'm hoping they will offer them again for next year. But with Carsland still being fairly new, I don't know if they is going to happen??? I'm also hoping that DVC will offer a bigger AP discount now that the prices are comparable to WDW prices. Right now DVC members get $125 discount off AP's at WDW but only $20 at Disneyland .

I'm definitely going on the ladies trip though .

I have a room booked for July 22-24th (two nights) at the Carousel. Would anyone care to join me and split the room cost? It is $109 a night and I will have my Disney-loving son, Brydon, with me. Everyone I have asked up here are either too broke right now or are out of town that week.

I made a reservation for Carthay Circle for lunch on July 9th for Cass and I!! Can't wait!!!! Yesterday we went to Rue 21, we got matching capris (matching pocket design) and I was joking with her and said "we could totally be matching on your birthday" I was expecting a "NO Mom, that's not OK" but she said "OMG Mom, that would be AWEsome!" LOL I love my kids!!
